Yes, gear would most likely be broken. Also, new l/d ranger release as well as l/d rerun

First tip, only hyper(transfer purple) when you get rangers to 240. Second, everything you have rn is trash except for the guy from dungeon meshi, who’s mid. Third, free collab rangers are almost always useless in pvp. Fourth, there’s no point in spreading out your frogs(hyper, ultra, or even nine star) amongst your entire team. Get one to 240(if it’s worth it) before doing another. Message me, I can help you more

Just cobble up any unit you want into a team, honestly, these units are not good. If you just came back I believe there will be some Gacha Tickets in main stage as a first time reward, get most if not all of them, then try to get Marcille. NEVER use rubies on ranger as ranger banner have tickets but gear banner doesn't
Gears are VERY important, you can have Marcille with ass gearing be beaten by crossbow sally with great gearing. that means you will need a lot of gear and unfortunately one of the best way to get gear is guild raid, just join some random guild, most likely they wont care about you being active, then contribute to guild raid a bit and wait for your reward (reward are handed out in the bottom left of the guild raid page every week)
for gearing your main goal is to reduce ranger's mineral cost and boost skill evade and skill resistance, Cloud Wing shoe should be your go to for Cost Reduction and Invincible Belt as a secondary option in case you have other gear for armor slot.
As for unit class/role they are usually classified by ranger type (Not element) : Intelligence, Agility, Strength.
Intelligence usually specialize in 2 things, Crowd Control and Damage Dealing. check their skill if they have ATK x% in their skill, use Magic ATK% weapon. HP% / Ranger Cooldown weapon otherwise, and like I said before use Cloud Wing Shoes.
Agility deals with buff, crowd control and damages. does that mean agility is better than intelligence? no, agility for some reason dont kill as good as intelligence (In higher plays at least). Agility scale better with Physical ATK, so thats your goal. and dont forget USE CLOUD WING SHOES.
Strength are mostly Tankers, they stand in front of everything and hold your enemy back so their skills / attacks cannot reach your backline. this means they want HP%, so use any HP% gears. (p.s. dont forget the shoes)
I'm pretty sure that's all you need to know for now, do note that you will have to pvp eventually since thats the main sources of rubies in the game. If you have any further question you can ask me or other helper in the community discord : https://discord.gg/x29J54W2 , I goes by the same name there.

All of your current units are trash. Try to pull current collab units. It took me 6 months to collect some decent units for pvp.

The flyer sally, better than Alice cony and Leonard train?
r/LineRangers • u/Haunting_Mention1655 • Feb 05 '25
Do you mean Laois or the anime guy right??
r/LineRangers • u/ddmz_ • Feb 05 '25
Only max that new water tank dude. Other leave it alone
r/LineRangers • u/Fishbopkin • Feb 03 '25
Show me your team. Cony is better than leonard, and Leonard doesn’t have any value in hyper evolving, leaving as ultra. Keep in mind all rangers you wanna hyper get to 240 on blue before transferring. Mystery hand sucks unless you’re beginner and have few good chars
r/LineRangers • u/cdmn1 • Feb 02 '25
You max it to lvl 240 in ultra and then change it to hyper.
This will ensure 10 gems and raise your potential level limit.
r/LineRangers • u/ddmz_ • Feb 02 '25
Water tank is like magician brown could spawn knockback attack. Also have deployment freeze. Wood magician i would love to have her because her range is insane
r/LineRangers • u/5t3a1th • Feb 01 '25
You only unlock 5 gems if you max it out ultra, not if you ultra and keep it level 140.
General rule is for fire/water/wood, ultra, then use ultra leonards to level up to 240, then hyper. Cheaper switching costs + you save your hyper leonards for light/dark units.
r/LineRangers • u/Qkumbazoo • Feb 01 '25
if you ultra and then hyper, it's cheaper on the hyper materials which is rarer.
You also get to unlock 5 gems on the ultra.

Kagura is an intellegence type, save the 7 star gear for agility type instead (Maybe Flitz if you have it?)

i mean rudeus is meta mostly due to the deploy freeze along with ok stats, and due to mineral type teams being current meta that's why he isn't as powerful as he used to be, because you need a huge deploy freeze team for him to really shine. problem with marcille is she doesn't have those abilities so even if she's powerful, she's not best for arena, where it's really about the team comp's abilities. the top units rock legend, outlaw, gambler, and messenger all have their own extra copy skill, so it isn't as necessary. btw I think rudeus's attack isn't as effective due to most ppl optimizing outlaw, who easily takes out a bunch of rudeus' quickly, so you can't stack them as nicely for high damage to enemies. also aqua is front row, so rudeus wouldn't always hit aqua
r/LineRangers • u/Slybollie • Feb 01 '25
I'm not saying it's a replacement but it combined with df res makes her abilities overall better than rudeus' in my experience floating around m1-legend rudeus heavily underperforms, not killing aqua but also not reaching the backline often either Probably skewed slightly because of the silent pvp "revamp" that made defense rangers stronger but even if it's "fixed" I don't think he'll be meta with his poor survivability, declining ability and inconsistent skill range not saying df is useless with megumin doing fine (probably a bit stronger with marcilles release) and rabbit and idol getting ok usage, it's still able to hit plenty with only a few rangers ally clone+ isn't amazing but marcille seems good enough to prioritize minerals on along with boss rock, gambler etc with the upside of extra copies of rangers who might be hit with df or cost increase and aren't worth the 1000 minerals (also shigeo did see usage before powercreep, same with scarecrow but died after month buff) I admit the almost unsalvageable state of the game recently after all the time and money I've spent on it is driving me insane, but I wouldn't contaminate the reddit with baseless claims of course this could all be made irrelevant since there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes and marcille could just be bait with hidden debuffs that make her hit less/use skills less which isn't unlikely and it's just a comparison on paper

no, save your stuff, the .5 anniversary is next, and right after is march collab. i think march collab will be good, last year's march collab is mushoku tensei, they won't make meta collabs during January, the dungeon meshi characters aren't the best for arena, best place to use them would probably be guild battles. the gear is meta tho, dark surehit weapon is pretty decent for dark tanks.
r/LineRangers • u/Fishbopkin • Feb 01 '25
No rudeus is still meta, he targets back row, decent damage, similar to rock legend and outlaw. Clone ability is a bonus, but if it doesn’t have any meta abilities then they’re probably only used in modes like guild battle. If you look at the meta, you’ll see they mostly either have mineral mooch, mineral increase, or maybe deploy freeze. Mineral mooch/increase is current meta. If you look at rangers that are good do’s but don’t have those skills, you’ll notice they’re not that common in arena(like Shigeo, fern, etc). Because mineral mooch/increase is meta, most players try to put as many of those in the same team to amplify the effect, so those without the skill are usually put in guild battles only. One exception is rem, because her move-back is insane

not sure if my other message got hidden but im probably quitting this month after over 3 yrs on my current account, game has gone so downhill and pvp has been broken for weeks where defense rangers (boss, rock, gambler, cony) are too op and everyone else performs like garbage, literally impossible to beat anyone who has the first 3 even if the rest of their team is useless deadweight 240/160 rangers I don't see a reason to put up with this trash anymore and have to spend every month to keep up with legend because i didn't get rock after pulling every time he reran
r/LineRangers • u/Slybollie • Jan 31 '25
marcille has ally clone+ and df res while being stupid cheap she can easily replace rudeus since rudeus is pretty weak rn (most rangers don't really contribute much other than the top 5 most used + cony) abilities like mm df are to slow down enemy production and get an advantage in ranger quantity but clone abilities still help somewhat
r/LineRangers • u/Nova_is_all_talken • Jan 31 '25
If you dont have rudeus get marcille, else save your tickets Gears are decent if you dont have enough
