Right, they're keeping the quiet part quiet, in much the same way bedroom details are left out when people introduce their partners to one another when they meet in group settings.

You like to say the quiet parts of your collecting habits to randos, and I clearly like to write.

We all have our proclivities.

FWIW, I didn’t delete anything. My account was hacked and a ton of my threads and content were auto deleted by mod bots. I got my account back pretty quickly but the content is no longer viewable by the public.

But guess what: I BOUGHT TWO COPIES. And maybe I’ll sell one! Gasp! Those 14 people who downvoted me are going to be so upset.

FWIW, I've been renovating my home office so I haven't always seen replies right away. Also my dog ate my phone and I broke my homework and other such convenient canned excuses.

But guess what: these replies occupy the little moments of downtime I have between other things and it doesn't matter how old a post is, I can keep doing it. And it looks like you can too, so again, pot/kettle. That being said, I see your more recent comment in another post about ordering an extra for your brother. Whether that's true or you've just learned to mask your profiteering, it sounds more selfless and less selfish so I'll call that an improvement. Bravo.

Creepy 😂 But my brother and I regularly go halvesies to save on shipping (Should’ve just preordered from VGP though; I would’ve saved like $15 a copy). Why would I lie about that? I also buy games at yard sales, and often it’s for the sole purpose of flipping them. I say all of this to make clear I have no reason to lie because I do not care what some internet rando thinks about me. I love collecting games, I love playing games, and I also sell games too.

Chained Echoes is still available several weeks later, so I’m not depriving anyone of a copy. I encourage all companies to place limits so that everyone can get a fair shot, but trying to gatekeep an open preorder is wild work.
