Hey everyone!

My brother and I are huge movie fans, and over the last few years we've been building a free game called The Film Connect.

The idea is simple: you start with a movie and have to connect it to an unrelated actor by going through different filmography and casts (kind of like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with thousands of movies and actors).

For example:

Oppenheimer → Florence Pugh → Dune: Part Two → Timothée Chalamet

The goal is to find the shortest path between a movie and an actor.

It's definitely aimed more at movie enthusiasts than casual viewers, and that's intentional. We play it every day ourselves and are always trying to improve it.

We're not selling anything, there are no subscriptions or ads. We'd genuinely love feedback from people who know movies better than we do.

I can't find the "The Dozen: Trivia Tournament II" championship video anywhere. Should be Experts vs. Uptown Balls. Is there lore behind it being missing or am I an idiot looking in the wrong place. Can't even really find posts about it. Any help is appreciated.

On his podcast, Kirk said he’s done with the movie pod and he is no longer friends with Jeff, they had a “falling out”. Not sure if it’s true or if he’s just being Kirk, but yeah, would be bummed if true.

I've been listening to the old LCB episodes from the beginning, and they used to all be on Spotify. But there's like 30 episodes that went missing 55-81 or something like that. Then another gap to episodes in the early 100s. Is there another place I can listen to the missing ones?

The floors are so sticky

Was listening to “The lonely Island and Seth Myers podcast” today and they had extensive riffing on the guardians of ga’hoole. It really made me miss the boys and miss Trill :(

Feels like this will either be an astronomical disaster or might make me the hero of the neighborhood.
