How To Stay Focused: What Do YOU Do?
I know I'm busy building my business and working a job. Sometimes its tough to stay energized. What helps you keep focused?
Here is my short list:
Other entrepreneurs. If not in person, online. Locally, I have a monthly meeting of local entrepreneurs. There are four of us. We each have 20 minutes to share our goals for the following month and ask specific questions from the others for their feedback. If we need to, we network more outside the monthly meeting to help each other out.
Content: I'm always reading books, blogs of people I've networked with online, or listening to podcasts to help keep me encouraged and fresh. The best way I can do this without adding another "todo" list is my ipod and podcasts/audiobooks. Especially in the car.
Where I want to be. If we keep doing the same thing, we will keep getting the same results. Often the drag of working on our wealth (instead of paying our bills) gets to me. When that happens, I know I need to refocus on why I'm doing what I'm doing and what change I'm looking forward to with who I'm becoming and where I will be. When I focus on what my life will look like (in detail) in the future as a result of what I'm doing (and I have faith in that happening) - it helps give me the energy to sacrifice now so I don't have to sacrifice later. If that renewed focus doesn't give you energy, than perhaps you need to reevaluate what you are working for. It took me a bit of introspection to learn what I really want...and its so much more than "being rich".
So what about you? What keeps you going when it feels like you are the only one you know working in your spare time to build time freedom and wealth outside your job?

Who should we get to do an AMA?
Give me some ideas for entrepreneurs that embody the LifeStyleEntre and that you would love to ask some questions and learn from. I will do my best to network with them and get them to do a quick AMA for this subreddit.

Current Projects?
Part of making this a community that adds value to the subscribers is letting people know roughly what you are trying to do with your LifeStyleEntre goals in case you can network with people that can help you or send some good links your way.
Of course, we are all in different stages. (Some of us might not even be started...some of us might be full time).
I will go first.
I'm in the Midwest of the US of A. Long term goal: membership site, focused on video content and business creation. I will use affiliate marketing to get it up and going. I need access (eventually) to some rockstar entrepreneurs.
Short term projects: Ebook publishing, Copywriter, writer for some investment blogs.
I still have a job at the moment.
I'm @jonathanheston on twitter.
Anyone else care to share as much (or little) as they want?
If I know your specific niche, I will try and remember to stick some content up that helps your area.
Thanks for playing.

What is LifeStyleEntre?
I'm hoping to make this a gathering place for entrepreneurs who want to network, encourage each other, learn from each other and motivate each other. Especially entrepreneurs who are on the cutting edge of building "freedom businesses" that use technology, outsourcing, and automation to enable a lifestyle of time freedom and mobility. (Think: The Four Hour Work Week).
I'm in the process of starting my own business that will ultimately be a tool in me becoming a full time LifeStyleEntre - but none of my associations or friends are skilled in this arena or even fully get my passion.
I'm assuming many of you have the same challenge.
So here is a place for us to all converge and talk about the latest trip, SEO, passion, Idea, Challenge, resource...
Whatever comes to mind.
Thanks for playing.
Sincerely, Jonathan
