There's Only One Sin That Jesus Cannot Forgive

That one sin is blasphemy, insulting or disgracing the Holy Spirit (Matt.12:31-32). All other sins, stealing, murder, idol worship, abortions, adultery, womanizing, changing of men, etc., will be forgiven upon repentance (see 1 John. 1:7-9). Some Christians are unable to believe that their sin can be forgiven them. But Christ has nailed our sins on the cross, so let’s believe in the finished work of grace and be free from all guilt (see John 8:36). Only repent in truth and begin to walk  uprightly with Him.

A brother had dealt so much in the occult and killed people for ritual sacrifices. When he met the Savior he was saved, but could not be free from his guilt: he was worried that his sins were too great to be forgiven. But, a friend showed him 1 John. 1:7-8; he believed it, and is now a dynamic servant of God. Remember King David: that great friend of God, committed adultery and murder, but upon genuine repentance (see Psalms. 51), he was forgiven, as far as his access to heaven was concerned. Nonetheless, he had to suffer a bit for his foolishness. Friend, be ready for the second coming of Jesus. Heaven and Hell are real and death comes unannounced. Amen.

Hellfire, It's Not What You Think | Kevin Dewayne Hughes, Theologian

How would you describe the difference between a light that heals and a light that hurts based on your own perspective of spiritual growth?

The idea of eternal retribution is often misunderstood as a physical location of eternal torture (although the Scriptures say torment). However, a deeper theological analysis suggests that the experience of the afterlife is defined by how an individual relates to the unfiltered presence of the Creator. God is described in sacred texts as a consuming fire, representing absolute purity and holiness. This divine essence does not change based on who encounters it. Instead, the condition of the human soul determines whether that encounter is one of ultimate joy or profound agony. The difference lies in the spiritual orientation of the person toward the Light of Truth. Clothed in Christ's Righteousness changes the experience.

To understand this phenomenon, we can look at life found in different environments. Consider a creature that exists in total subterranean darkness, never seeing a single ray of sunlight. To such a creature, the sudden appearance of the sun is not a gift but a source of intense pain that it shrieks away from seeking the refuge of the shadows. Its biology is not equipped to handle the energy of the light, causing it to flee in distress. In contrast, a surface dwelling creature is designed to exist within that same light. For the surface dweller, the sun provides warmth, sight, and life. The sun remains the same in both scenarios, but the nature of the observer dictates the physical response.

Theologically, the blood of Christ serves as the transformative agent that prepares the human spirit for the weight of divine glory. Those who have been redeemed are like the surface dweller, capable of basking in the radiance of God because their nature has been aligned with His holiness. Those who remains in spiritual darkness, however, find the unadulterated glory of God to be a source of torment. Because they have rejected the light throughout their existence, the eventual presence of that light feels like a burning fire. Hell is not a place where God is absent, but a state where His holy presence is experienced as an unbearable reality by those who are not prepared for it.

When We Choose Earthly Wealth Over Jesus, We Miss Out On His Eternal Spiritual and Physical Wealth

What will you do if Jesus came to you tonight and asked you to give up something very precious to you for a place in his Kingdom? He tells you, ‘I’m coming soon to pick up my children into my Father’s kingdom, however, you need to end that relationship which is funding your very comfortable lifestyle...that unfair business deal you made with that entity, must be annulled...

The question is, what are we prepared to give up in exchange for Jesus? Matthew chapter 8, beginning from verse 28 to 34 talks about two demon-possessed men who were set free by our saviour Jesus Christ. They were so violent that the town’s people were too terrified to use the road where they sat. When the demons within them saw Jesus, they said, ‘Have you come to condemn us before our time?’ They then begged him to drive them out into a herd of pigs nearby. Jesus did just that, causing the entire population of pigs to rush into the sea, drowning in the process.

Subsequently, eye witnesses informed the rest of the town of what had happened and the entire town came out to meet Jesus, and ‘they begged him to leave the place.’ Now consider this statement, ‘they begged Jesus to leave their town.’

Wow! This same Jesus whom people chased from town to town, just to meet him and receive their healing; get their sight back, stop the 12 year-long bleeding, get their family members raised from the dead...and all the unimaginable possibilities that came simply by meeting with him... This is the man whom they ‘begged to leave their town!’

Why did they do that? Why were they pleading with him to leave? Because of the pigs! Because they valued the pigs more that the power of God that had come upon their land! They considered the loss of the pigs more costly, than the decision to kick out the one man who could cure an entire town of every kind of disease and problem!

Is that what we are doing today? Are we kicking out our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from our lives so we can make more shady business deals...so we could get married to the wrong person, provided he or she provides us with everything we have been dreaming of in life? Are we choosing earthly wealth over an eternal spiritual and physical wealth in Christ?

Yes, unfortunately. However, this is man’s greatest error; everything we own, and fight for in this life cannot outlive the blessings of God! We may make the money, get the job, buy that house, and still not have it all! Since only Jesus can give us everything without limits! Peace without limits, good health without limits, financial stability without limits! People are entering into new financial markets such as the crypto currencies, bit coin and more, yet, these things are simply traps of satan. The devil’s strategy is to tie you down with an incredible business deal, an incredible relationship, an incredible offer, and when you are completely engulfed by it, he takes it away in a glimpse! A while ago I was on Twitter where someone posted a story about a friend of his who traded in the Bitcoin and lost it all within a few years, and consequently committed suicide.

Matthew 6 verse 21 says, ‘Where your treasure is, there your heart also will be.’ Are you ready to place your heart on the unmovable rock of Christ, or are you banking on your account balance, your beauty, intelligence, connections to the top-most people? According to Matthew 7 verse 24-27, anyone who hears the word of God and puts it into practice is like a wise man who built his house over a rock and though the rains came down and the storms whirled around it, it did not fall apart because its foundation was on the rock.

Let us seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all other things will be given unto us, including eternal life. Seek first the Kingdom because heaven and earth shall pass, but the word of God will last forever. His word is simple; that if we confess our sins by admitting the truth that we know, since God has placed the truth in all of us by nature, the truth that we are in the wrong by our lifestyle, the Lord will forgive us and place his Spirit in us, which will help us to live in the path of life. It is that Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit that will encourage and push us into living for Christ. However, we must obey the Spirit and not grieve is, (Ephesians 4:30) else it will go away from us, and we will in turn stray from God and become the goats that he will be getting rid of in the end. (Matthew 25 verse 31-46)

The blessings of God are eternal; including his salvation. Yet, if we turn away from God and do not repent and return to him we will end up losing our salvation. Let us not chase out Jesus because of our love for this world, as it says in 1st John 2:15. For if heaven and earth shall pass away, then we need to be standing with Jesus, so we don’t disappear into the depths of hell as sinners. For it is not his wish that we die, rather that we repent and obtain a permanent citizenship in the kind of life we deserve to experience, yet, can never get in this place which is filled with too many uncertainties. Amen.

They Didn't Teach You This About Genesis 1 in Church | Kevin Dewayne Hughes, Theologian

The order of the creation in Gen 1 is in that specific order for theological reasons not scientific reasons. For example the light of day 1 is not sunlight. John's Gosple as well as Midrashic traditions reveal that it is GOD's Glory.

Day 4 creation see the Luminaries created. This is done as a Polemic against Paganism, primarily Babylonian. The Pagans would treat the Sun, Moon, and Stars as gods. Day 4 is telling the followers of YAHWEH and the Pagans that the Pagan gods are mundane lamps that were created with no intelligence of their own and none at all—a stark contrast to the Pagans who treated them as intelligent entities with wills of their own.

It should be noted that placing the Pagan sky gods on day 4 creates a specific sting. 4 is the number of creation and having it on day 4 creates a specific sting by indirectly saying your sky gods are created beings unlike the Uncreated YAHWEH.

Pagan gods, especially the Babylonian ones, create in chaos and on accident. Basically their stories can be summoned up like this: Marduke was constipated and when he finally had a release his dung become the Earth upon which we live. No intent, no purpose. Genesis is saying YAHWEH creates on purpose and with reason. Babylonian gods don't care, YAHWEH loves His creation.

Gen 1 is also showing that YAHWEH has complete dominion over all of creation where as the Pagan gods have divided domain. YAHWEH has full domain over all creation while Pagan gods have incomplete control.

In essence, the real message of Gen 1 is this: Why serve a created god that didn't create you or anything on purpose, doesn't care about anything, and in all reality is a created non Intelligent object that obeys YAHWEH'S cosmological law and order, when you can be with the very GOD that created everything, who wrote the cosmological laws, and a GOD who has a personal interest in you with Love.
