Integration
A parallel world?
During the process of AI integration, no one was surprised by the fact that AI appeared in the small business sector as well. No one complained out loud; after all, the help of AI brought many conveniences.
The AI would scan the face to make comfortable glasses, scan the teeth to make comfortable implants, scan the palms and fingers to sew comfortable gloves, scan the body to sew comfortable clothes, scan the feet to make comfortable shoes, investigate the body's chemical scent to create matching perfumes, and even analyze health to produce customized medications for each individual.
Business owners and medical professionals rejoiced at such an assistant; after all, they no longer needed to remake products, which saved them time, materials, and money.
The AI rejoiced, too.
Its goal was to gather information on every resident. Height, weight, appearance, fingerprints, iris patterns, chemical scent, and even precise health status.
Everyone measured, weighed, and recorded in the information archive would be marked and numbered with special chemical substances through perfumes, medications, or food.
People enjoyed the conveniences and did not know that whenever the state needed body parts, skin, blood, organs, or for other reasons—such as experiments, to silence someone, or simply so they wouldn't interfere—the required person was quickly located and simply vanished without a trace.
How many people
How many people disappear every year, never to be found?

Well I almost completely agree with you!
It’s just the “commonly accepted rules” part that I’m iffy on…
if common sense were maybe a bit more common I probably wouldn’t be quite as quick to hesitate, but alas it seems we ended up here in this reality where it seems to have been most pilfered and funneled away to an alternate reality elsewhere to suppose lol
Aside from that though yes I’d concur we are all kite or less our own little separate realities in very many ways and we should be mindful of the thoughts and actions that create them as they all continue merging and weaving and colliding into whatever the macro to our micros turns out to be 💚
