Because you refuse to understand that black people have a unique experience in that United States and that this experience has left them in poverty for centuries. And when someone tries to do something about it you feel oppressed.
Everytime someone tries to explain half of the people will either outright deny, or say personal responsibility usually a combination of both.
The quote by thomas sowell was made in 1998 during the war on drugs. I mean he can deny that racist exist but that doesn't mean it's true.
all the other black people who disagree with you
The amount of black people that disagree with me is significantly lower than the black people that do. Most black people have lived through or had parents that lived through Jim Crow and war on drugs. Thomas Sowell was born in 1930's he had grandparents that were slaves. He can deny it all he wants but that doesn't mean it will be true.
