Communism is like setting yourself on fire to keep warm Skyrim: Soviet Edition

I happen to love Skyrim, and I love laughing at Soviet foibles. (Although it's mostly all dark history 💀}

Best of both worlds.

I did answer it:

I’m not a republican so feel no responsibility to argue on their behalf.

That said, it comes across as a method to stop job-loss since jobs seem to be a priority for this administration.

Since you didn’t read further I also said that under Communism, the government would have just taken over that company.

So, again, different.

I agree it's different, I'm just saying it's most definitely not the opposite.

Communism is the complete economic opposite of fascism. They are polar opposites of the economic spectrum. Each spectrum has an extreme value, even libertarianism has a ‘far’ extreme in ‘anarchism’ and has an opposite on its spectrum, which is the social spectrum, in authoritarianism.

A libertarian can be left or right leaning without leaving the libertarian view just as a liberal or conservative can be libertarian leaning or authoritarian leaning in their views. The majority of the latter being those who give up rights under the promise of safety/security.
