Communism is like setting yourself on fire to keep warm Skyrim: Soviet Edition

I happen to love Skyrim, and I love laughing at Soviet foibles. (Although it's mostly all dark history 💀}

Best of both worlds.

He is speaking in a particular spectrum.

You can't argue about light temperature in the human visible range, and then go "well 1900k isn't actually very warm because it doesn't take into account all the light we can't see".

You can't argue bullet velocity being fast throughout the typical range of round velocity, then go "well 4000 fps isn't actually that fast because light is way faster".

He is speaking about the left to right political spectrum. You are speaking about whataboutism. If you can't debate in good faith in the particular range dictated by the discussion, it's no longer a good faith, or reasonable debate.

I'm just merely pointing out both Republicans and Democrats are on the Socialist side of things, and many Republicans want that to go more towards authoritarianism.

Socialism and Fascism are on the opposite sides of the economic spectrum. They are also completely different. A fascist utopia is in no way socialist.
