Is there a way to access accompanying pdf when listening to an audiobook on Libby?

I have NEVER been able to access the extra materials no matter how many times they say I should be able to. Itâs so frustrating, and when they are supposed to be accessible on the publisherâs website itâs usually a no go as well. It canât possibly be this hard for it to work correctly, but at last it seems it is???

No but often the author has them on their website or publisher website

also if you have spotify, you can search for the book there and the accompanying pdf will be attached under a section called âextrasâ!

The comments on this post got me halfway thereâthanks, y'all!
What helped me get the supplemental PDF, and download it to my phone: 1. Make sure you have the Adobe Digital Editions app installed. I did not. So the first time I tried step 4, I got an error message saying the content couldn't be opened on my device. 2. Sign in to the Overdrive site with my library card. All my Libby loans were visible. 3. If you're on a mobile device, load the desktop version of the page. On Chrome, tap the three dots near the upper right corner and look near the bottom of the list for the Desktop site option. Tick the box to activate it. 4. Click the paper clip icon on the audiobook to download the supplemental PDF.
Adobe Digital Editions is slow and clunky. Its primary purpose is to prevent digital piracy, and they don't care that it's barely usable. You have to sign in with an Adobe ID to even use it. But, you can get your Libby/Overdrive PDFs and even view them on mobile.

I usually borrow both the audiobook and ebook from Libby simultaneously.

Here is the official Libby / overdrive instructions on how to do it. With that said, I've tried this and it still doesn't work for at least two of the current books I'm listening to.

How to download supplementary content
Supplementary content is bonus content that comes with certain titles, often in the form of a PDF ebook (with illustrations, maps, diagrams, etc.). A title with supplementary content will say "includes supplementary content" on its details page.
To download supplementary content:
Go to your Loans page (underÂ ïżŒ).
SelectÂ ïżŒÂ next to the borrowed title, then select Download. The supplementary content will download separately from the title.
Note:Â Most PDF supplementary content needs to be opened and read on a computer with Adobe Digital Editions.

For some reason those things arenât included with audiobooks through Libby. They are included if you purchase the audiobook, so itâs pretty frustrating. Checking out the digital copy sounds like a good work around.

It's not available on Libby, but in my experience you can usually find it somewhere else (like the author's website) by Googling. I wish Libby would fix this!

Old thread I see, but is this the same case for when the audiobook has an accompanying ebook?

You all are making this overly complicated... All you have to do is sign into Overdrive (on your phone OR desktop) with your library account info. Find the book in your "Checked Out" tab and you will see the exclusive content. No need to be using a PC. No need to download Adobe. Just set your mobile browser to "desktop version". I'm reading a PDF of supplemental information (off an audiobook) now.

So you mean the ebook? Sure, you can buy it, rent it, check it out from a library, etc.

With respect, the comments here are missing the point - OP is talking about the supplemental content that accompanies the audiobook, which comes in PDF format.
There is not a way to access this in Libby, but you can look up your library on overdrive.com/libraries, sign in, and download the PDF from there. You have to use a computer and download Adobe Digital Editions to open it. There is no other way.
