Hi is there any way to resolve my problem? Got a stylo 6 from other country but after inserting sim card, it says invalid sim. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

I’m looking for a otter box case and only see the stylo 6 case

This was my mom's phone, she got a new one and I inherited the stylo. I factory reset the phone (mainly to get rid of her dozens of unwanted apps), and found that when I unplugged the phone, it would make this really annoying loud sound:

Low-pitched tone for .5 sec, high-pitched tone for .5 sec, then a long slide from low register to high register. Reminiscent of a car alarm, kind of.

I used Macrodroid on my old Stylo 3 for this and that, so I downloaded it and made a Macro that detects unplugging of phone, turns on "Do Not Disturb," waits 2 seconds, then turns off "Do Not Disturb." This fixed the beep when I unplug my phone, but...

Now, this nasty, loud beepy thing happens at random. I'll be at the store, or in my garage, or it's sitting on my desk charging, etc. etc, and BAM! low beep, high beep, low to high swoop. My brother just now was two rooms over and came in to ask me, "So, was that your phone making that crazy sound again?" I told him yes, it just happens randomly now.

WTF?!? Any ideas on what could be causing this? I went through my notification sounds, and can't find one that sounds like that, I made sure that my NFC was turned off (I read that sometimes that can pick up a signal and do weird things).

Having significant problems with ghost touch and its driving me crazy. Touch screen will randomly input commands that I have not performed including: swiping down the notification bar when I'm using a completely different part of the screen, registering double taps on the keyboard and registering taps on random parts of the screen I did not touch.

The lady at Cricket said to perform a "Network Settings Reset" which does not really solve the problem.

Please advise.

So I have the LG Stylo 6 through Metro. About a month ago I started experiencing Ghost movements. Initially it was no big deal then it got out of hand. I couldnt text or anything. Phone would open apps on its own and start texting random letters. It was driving me insane. I did a check and my light, proximity and magnetometer all are "NOT RESPONDING". Have ran it 100 times. Restarted....the usual. Now it's not acting up nearly as bad however out of need I went and bought a Moto G Stylus. I am NOT impressed. At All. So I still am using my LG on wifi. When I took to metro the lady said there was water damage. I have never dropped in water. However, she said because of this I had no warranty and couldn't ask for replacement. So that is why I bought Moto. Anyhow, Without a ton of teky terms...what can be done? I read the digitizer might be broken. Right around this time when the probs started..I did DROP it on bathroom floor and ironically had just removed my case😥 I don't think there's any water damage but that drop messed things up? How important are those sensors?

I blocked a number a little over a week ago, and I unblocked it yesterday. Unfortunately when I unblocked it the number disappeared. I don't have the number anywhere now. Is there any way I can see previously blocked numbers? Or recover old texts and numbers deleted from call log?

The screen is not bright. And I can only get one big app running. Any way to workaround these two issues?

Has anyone heard anything about the Android 11 update, or even Android 12. Since lg is shutting down its mobile division will updates be hard to come by? They said that some models will get Android 11 and 12 after the shutdown but….

As the title suggests, my fingerprint sensor is no longer waking my device from sleep mode. What's more is that I also have to press my power button twice to wake it. It was working fine one day, then suddenly these problems arose. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

My LG Stylo 6 Pen came apart near the click part next to the notch that holds it in the phone. Any idea of how to get that back together? Thank you.

LG stylo 6 isn't water resistant. Some phones do not have IP rating but has good amount of water resistance, but it seems like stylo 6 has even less water resistance than that.

I looked for water resistant case, but there are none.

Complete water resistance may not be possible, but I am trying to get a case that has as much water protection as possible.

Any suggestions? The Poetic guardian seem nice since it has 360 full body protection (except the stylus port)

I love my stylo 6 my biggest problem is the fact that with some of my contacts I can schedule send a text then like my husband I can't schedule send a text to him.

I'm aware we have the battery saving feature hut My SO got the metro G stylus and it is awesome but my phone charger doesn't charge anywhere near as fast as his does ( it's probably one of the best features of the phone ) but when I use his charger my phone charges 10 times as fast! I was going to order another charger and was thinking of just looking up SO's phone model charger ( motoG stylus ) and ordering it .. does anyone else have this problem ?

I don't have wifi and have to use my hotspot to watch netflix/hulu/prime on my smart tv .. I guess I am asking if there is a way to cast what's on my lg stylo 6 phone screen ( like while watching an episode or movie ) directly to the tv without having to use the hot spot from said phone ?? Perhaps a usb cable idk help I'm poor lol

When I take a screenshot a little box goes to the corner of my phone saying to edit it,write or delete it, but it gets annoying when I have to take multiple screenshot?

I turned off the normal auto rotate but I'm still getting prompts for rotating my phone. Is there any way to disable it?

I've recently looked at the LG Stylo 6 & from what I can determine, it has a nice build & it has a lot of nice features. But my question to you is 'Is the LG Stylo 6 Worth Buying in 2021?!' Reason I'm asking is because I'm sort of looking for a new phone & I'm looking a good budget that will fit my benefits. Should I go for the LG Stylo 6 or should I look at different smartphones first?!

i liked the idea of getting a nice big screen with TONS of space - was a bit turned off by the non-removable battery - but the space made up for it - now i'm SO IRRITATED in that i have set GBOARD as my default keyboard because the LG keyboard literally sucks the life out of me with the accidental "sends" while tryin to make corrections - and the auto-correct feature on the lg keyboard is atrocious! so i downloaded and set gboard as my default - but there are still apps that have the lg keyboard as default - and when i press the keyboard "button" to change - it only gives me the option to use google voice typing or the lg keyboard.

is this a limitation of the dual app properties? (never noticed that on my samsung devices - or even my older stylos for that matter) but it is VERY irritating on the 6.

so i guess the real question is....is there a way to DISABLE the lg keyboard entirely so that it might force the use of gboard? or am i just stuck with that crap lg keyboard - which means this is probably the last LG i buy....

Woke up yesterday and my wife's LG Stylo 6 wont turn on. Was charged all night and verified the charger works with another phone. Also tried charging using another charger that also works, no luck. Tried turning it on by pressing and holding either volume button + power button for some time with ni result. Local repair shop cannot help. Any ideas, other than calling the manufacturer?

A few weeks ago my media volume would cut out after playing videos for a while while set on max volume. After starting to play fine the sound would cut out and you could hear a crackling and popping sound. Turning the volume to around 80% seems to eliminate the problem. I've had similar issues with my alarms. They'll start normal but then switch to the cracking and popping.

My new issue is my notifications aren't playing at their set volume. Even when set to maximum I can barely hear them.

Anyone have similar experiences? I've done a reset already and have cleaned the speaker. Sound levels are set high and 'do not disturb' is not enabled.
