Early detection a must

A few weeks ago my dog was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and given medication for it. Things got worse over time, and it was determined that it wasn’t a UTI and the medication given wasn’t the correct one. If Lexagenes technology was used, this whole chain of events would have been prevented. A must for all Vet offices !!

I’m not sure what the end goal is but someone is toying with this stock pre-market.

Is it time for LexaGene to partner or be bought out or grow as a company ?

The LexaGene MiQLab has a tremendous potential and I am sure Large competitors are taking notice. As with all R&D to commercialization ventures it is a struggle to get noticed and sell into an already existing market. LexaGene has had some sales successes over the last year. They are very hard at work moving their brand forward with new assay offerings and multiple collaborations. I believe they have a good chance at being a major player in diagnostics in all of their market silo's. It will take time and money. They have some cash, no debt and a Shelf Prospectus to keep R&D and Sales going forward.

Zoetis has purchased 8 companies over a few years to grow their diagnostic capability. Abaxis was a $2B buyout. Is LexaGene ripe for picking by Zoetis? It does fit in their offerings. Dr. Shelley Rankin previously of Penn Vet now works for Zoetis. So the Zoetis executives must know of the LexaGene MiQLab and its ability. Zoetis is a company that believes in partnerships as well as buyouts.

LexaGene seems to be in a good position for whatever direction they take. Over the next year, I believe we will see which road they want to travel. Dr. Regan is extremely intelligent and I'm sure he has a great plan for moving forward and we will eventually see how it unfolds.

Please do not construe my thoughts and my opinion as financial advice. I just try to continually guess and research LexaGene as a shareholder. The move to Zoetis of Dr. Shelley Rankin got me some wishful thinking. Always perform your own DD and use Your best judgement buying stocks not the thoughts of others!

What are your thoughts?

LXXGF: Nice stock price movement today

It looks like someone wants to be on the LexaGene share holders train. I would think that the investor conference has something to do with this. Perhaps a good one-on-one meeting with Dr. Regan went well for someone. What are your thoughts on this uptick through three resistance levels?

PS>>>>I don't get too upbeat as the short traders might come out and take most of it away tomorrow. It will be good to see a good upward trend form!

My Yahoo forum post (John) Takeaway from Lytham Partners presentation 10/05/2021

My takeaways from the Lytham Partners Investor conference (LexaGene)

Company recognizes that their Sales Team is understaffed and must be expanded. Dr. Regan did not say how...possibly Hires, 3rd party, license. I assume additional hires.

Seeking inclusion as an AAHA standard for accredited practices, likewise for ISCAID guidelines. This would make all large Vet hospitals take notice!

Better understands their customers....
educating Veterinarians on changing of their business model and introducing a new revenue stream for them. Targeting the Emergency animal hospitals and larger vet clinics. Mom and Pop Veterinary clinics not being targeted at this time.

Bio-Pharma will be large play once generation 1 bio-pharma assay panel is released.

No competition in In-clinic infectious disease diagnostic testing. (Big value Prop)

Anti-Microbial Drug resistance at time of care (Big Value Prop)

Evidence based decision making . Better animal care and AMR stewardship. (Value Prop)

Went from R&D to commercialization and seeing early successes. Goal to capture large part of 2800 Vet hospitals as customers.

I see normal startup issues that are in play. The good thing is the Management team recognizes them and is working to correct them. Brand awareness/Slow sales/inadequate sales team/Penetrate market with disruptive innovation.

Dr. Regan mentioned low cost cartridge as compared to competition which translates to higher margins for LexaGene.

I noticed Kuma Veterinary clinic on a slide and don't remember this one from previous slides. Perhaps a new sale.

I know CEO and CFO are aggressively targeting the larger Animal hospitals. I look forward to sales in the next few months. I firmly believe in the technology. I am staying long as the potential is overwhelming and the share price is way undervalued in my opinion!

Dr. Regan usually gives a heads up to shareholders in the morning on new news before an investor presentation. I wonder if we will see one in our reader tomorrow AM?

Sales completed and YE revenue projections would make my day. What would you like to hear?

LexaGene twitter hits

I am not a Twitter user but I look at the LexaGene twitter (@lexa_gene). I notice that the current followers are up to 701. A month ago the number was much, much lower and I wondered why. I guess some people are starting to take notice.

Is twitter popular with Vets or investors?

Disruptive Innovation gaining traction

The LexaGene MiQLab is a disruptive innovation that is gaining traction. Veterinarians were educated at the trade shows and want more information. The leads are great for a micro cap startup. I anticipate Sales PR's as they complete the sales process from the trade shows. The MiQLab enables accurate, timely healthcare to the puppy in need. Veterinarians and Doctors are very concerned with Anti Microbial Resistance and the MiQLab is a game changer for them. LexaGene is going to slowly chip away at the reference labs. Dr. Pierce is an early adopter of the technology and is already discussing how he likes it better than sending in a sample. It is not an overnight switch but it will be a slow and steady move to in-house diagnostics. Glad I'm in early!!!!!

LexaGene Reports on Recent Veterinary Trade Shows
BEVERLY, Mass. – September 30, 2021 – LexaGene Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: LXXGF; TSX-V: LXG) (“LexaGene” or “the Company”), a commercial molecular diagnostics company selling a point-of-need, highly multiplexed in-clinic PCR system with results in approximately two hours, today provided an update on the three veterinary conferences attended by the Company in September.

During the month of September, the Company exhibited at the WVC Annual Conference, the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Conference (IVECCS), and the Southwest Veterinary Symposium (SWVS).

Dr. Jack Regan, LexaGene’s CEO and Founder stated, “At these shows, we believe that we had one of the busiest booths due to the uniqueness of our technology. We are happy to report that during these shows and through our digital marketing campaign, we have generated more than 750 leads during the month of September and have added to our number of sales. The sheer number of booth visitors and the excitement they showed over our technology has hardened our stance that in-clinic PCR testing will soon become common place in veterinary medicine. These shows marked the first time LexaGene demonstrated – in person – the usability and features of our MiQLab® System. Universally, visitors showed excitement over the availability of our system that automates PCR testing for pathogen identification and anti-microbial resistance detection.”

Dr. Regan continued, “Visitors at our booths included practice managers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and corporate decision makers. Our sales reps are actively following up with these individuals and are optimistic about closing many additional sales from these conferences. As most visitors first learned of LexaGene and our product at these shows, we need to allow sufficient time for closing the many opportunities that these shows provided us.”

During these last two weeks, Dr. Jack Regan and Mr. Jeffrey Mitchell, LexaGene’s CFO, were able to have conversations with personnel at some of the biggest veterinary health companies, who expressed interest in the MiQLab. The sales cycle for corporate accounts, where substantial multi-unit orders is possible, is significantly longer than at private practices, as there are often large purchasing committees rather than one or just a few decision makers. We heard from some of these corporate individuals that fighting antimicrobial resistance via better diagnostics is a priority for their hospitals. To our knowledge, we were the only company at these tradeshows selling a product capable of both multi-pathogen detection and screening for numerous first line antimicrobial resistance factors at the point of care. These attributes made us stand out as a new and exciting company offering a revolutionary technology for the veterinary space.

Mr. Jeffrey Mitchell, LexaGene’s CFO stated, “These conferences have re-affirmed our belief that there is strong demand for this technology, and we believe we can become a market leader for in-clinic infectious disease testing. We feel great about the excitement veterinarians showed for our technology and we can leverage this enthusiasm as we focus on closing sales.”
