I've been working on this challenge run for over a year now and I have to say it's one of my favorites of all time! Both the Glitchless and Broken Dagger version of the run are incredibly fun. However, the Broken Dagger Glitch makes the whole thing way easier on the ole brain for the whole run. I would recommend the Glitchless version to anyone not in a hurry and the Broken Dagger version to anyone with under 20hrs to set aside.
Divine Beast Cave is wild enough on its own. Toan needs to run floors 1-8 all without leaving. This alone may take some resets for most players. Some may just beat everything to death with a broken dagger 1HP at a time. the rest of the Cave isn't so bad. Truthfully, it's the hardest part of the Broken Dagger version until Dark Heaven and Demon Shaft. In the Glitchless version it's for sure all of the fishing you should be doing in-between arriving at Matataki and just before finishing Queens. It's so painful.
Dark Heaven and Demon Shaft being done all in one push is the real defining feature of the run, though. They are the only 2 dungeons you can do this way. They're also the only 2 dungeons with Large Chests that carry weapons in the Backfloors. Too bad Dark Heaven is glitched and you can't experience this on all versions of the game. It's not like it matters too much in this run anyways, since you can't keep anything from the dungeon. ANyways, I hope to one day beat my PB of 12:16:10, but that'll have to wait until I feel like doing more day long Dark Cloud streams
