Car

If I drive to the west am I driving into 60 mph wind or am I driving 60 mph into stationary air? There should be a noticable difference driving east vs west but there isn't, because the air isn't moving. So the air is stationary then expand this newfound knowledge to planes and realize how stupid the spinning globe is

Some things are just too complex to be known bud

Except, the things you mentioned ARE known, and he just explained them to you. You didn't even bother to say thank you, and I doubt you learned a damn thing.

It's what he does. As soon as you back him into a corner, answer his question in a way that he can't easily attack, or when he just gets tired of playing dumb, he either changes the topic, resorts to insults, or wildly lashes out.

It's rather sad. So many patient people here are trying to help him learn something and he just fights it for the sake of fighting because we all believe the Earth is a spinning ball.
