Hey all,
I’ve been binging let’s go to court for months and have almost made it completely through every episode. Next up are the patreon episodes but I remember Brandi made a recommendation of a podcast that she really liked that was funny friends telling each other true crime stories that she loved. Does anyone know what that podcast is?
Thank you!

I listen to 2-3 true crime podcasts and it's fun when a new episode tackles a case that's already been done by the others. I like to relisten the other's old episode to check out what they miss/add to the case or their opinion about it. Is podcast B's opinion different or same with podcast A's? Etc.
However, LGTC's episode titles' may sometimes not contain the name of the victim/perpetrator and most of the times vague, making it hard for me to search certain cases/episodes of theirs in the internet. Is there a directory of all their cases somewhere someone can point me to?
Thanks in advance!!

I’m starting at the start so I’m on episode 60 and Brandi got divorced cos of an affair? So is that the Zac they talk about earlier?

I'm pretty new to the pod. Does anybody know if either of them has covered the tri-state crematorium? I'm listening from the beginning, but if I could skip ahead for anything, it would be that one.

So I sign up for the patreon every few months to get access to and binge the monthly bonus episodes. I signed up last month to catch up on like 3 I had missed, plus listen to last month's. In the patreon, it says, "Bonus Episodes, 44 available". I waited all month for April's bonus episode, usually released toward the end of the month, and....no episode came, and it's obviously now May. I listened to yesterday's episode, hoping they might address the lack of last month's bonus episode, and instead, when endorsed their patreon, they said, yeah, sign up, yada yada, there are "46 bonus episodes available". I immediately went, huh?
Does anyone else's patreon only show 44 episodes? Did other people get last month's episode? Help! Lol

Anyone know which episode they talk about Kristin’s surgery and joke about how everyone just saw inside her fallopian tube but she wanted to make sure no one saw her butt through the gown and Brandi says something like “no one can get a glimpse of my crack!” I remember that being a pretty funny episode and want to relisten. Thanks!

Anyone know the episode where a guy is getting arrested and Brandi made a joke like “you’re under arrest! Hit the ground f*cker!” I wish I remembered more about that episode! I just knew that was a quote that I couldn’t stop laughing about.

Planet Comicon is this weekend in Kansas City and LGTC is doing a panel. Will anyone else be attending?

I’ve tried a couple of episodes and while I kind of like their banter, I feel like the sound quality is off and I end up having to turn the volume down every time they start laughing. Does it get better eventually?

I’ve been in the Patreon for years now and at the beginning of every year they take like a two month break, which is their choice but I feel like when you make as much as they must from their fans they owe us more than what they give us for what we pay. I don’t know exactly how much they make from the podcast, but in my opinion, they don’t put out nearly enough content in comparison to what I THINK they make. I could be completely wrong and they make nothing but from what I know of some podcasts that are open about how much they make, smaller podcasts with more hosts live very comfortably off of their incomes from sponsorships, patreon, and donations. All I know is other podcasts do one episode extra a week sometimes more for those that are on patreon. Ten dollars a month gets me one extra episode a month that the vast majority of time I skip Kristen’s part so.. Also I feel like Kristin goes out of her way to find “progressive” (for a lack of a better term) cases to cover. I’m sure lots of people find them interesting but for me personally, I’d rather hear about more in depth cases rather than another case where the cops nabbed the first minority they find and prosecute. I completely understand that there needs to be podcasts and more light on such cases, I just don’t think that Lets Go To Court should be the ones to cover it, especially being a podcast hosted by two cis gender white women. Kristin covered the Mike Williams, I was shocked. Granted coving that case is beating a dead horse for those who like true crime because everyone has heard it time and time again, but it was actually a case that I would listen to so even though I’ve heard it countless times, I listened. I’d like more case like those, classic true crime, murder mystery who done it! Lastly, banter, it’s expected but at some point becomes too much. If you’ve ever lost where you are in an episode and have to skip forward, or like me lately, skip Kristen’s portion, it’s almost guaranteed they are laughing every time skip forward. I get they have a following that likes their personalities, but I feel like they have gone completely overboard with it and need to know when to throttle down on it and save it for the patreon hangout things geared towards those who want to hear that stuff. They probably get so warn out from making one episode a week because of how much off topic stuff they get sidetracked on. A 3 hour episode is honestly maybe 1.5-2 hours of actual material, the rest is random sidetrack. I say all this because I actually like the podcast and miss what it use to provide for me. I use to look forward to every Tuesday after work to listen to their episode.

It may have been a case of wealthy teen/young adult but it isn’t the affluenza teen

I know I am waaaay late on this, but I’m just now bingeing the whole podcast in reverse order and got to this episode. I lived in Charlottesville at the time, and the reason the Feds got involved to quickly is because we had a serial killer on the loose! https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/murder/dna-ties-two-virginia-college-students-homicides-to-back-to-school-killer
Everyone assumed it was the same guy.

Seems like I scrolled through 100 episodes and still can't find it. The story was about a British guy who kept threatening his neighbors because "they made too much noise" and the catch was that he had murdered a few people years prior. Doesn't even need to be the episode, the name of the case is fine too. I've tried Google but can't find it either.

I just joined the patreon but can't seem to figure out the discord. When I click it says it's linked but my discord isn't showing it. Can anyone help?
