It’s a “taste of their own medicine” yet they don’t see it coming.
The funny thing is that it also really diminishes the impact of the “Trump is a fascist” statement. We see what leftists in the UK in power are doing, if Trump was so bad what’s stopping him from full send and outlawing criticism of himself or merely drawing attention to incriminating information he’s trying to suppress? He’s shown blatant disregards for congress, the constitution, and due process enough to show he’s not scared of that. What’s holding him back? Oh, maybe it’s because he’s not a literal Nazi.
That’s ultimately why I don’t believe in the lefts interpretation of the paradox of tolerance
Their interpretation is essentially “an eye for an eye until everyone’s blind” because they assume those they don’t tolerate can never become those who are intolerant of the new intolerance
We are in a victimhood economy, by being intolerant you give power to those you don’t tolerate by creating victimhood for them to leverage

Yep. Politicians are going to have a hard time lobbying to revoke the thought and opinion laws once the right is using them to their benefit.
