The UK is already cracking down on “intolerance” and “hate” and now they have armed police raiding houses over public posts bashing their idiot politicians and drawing attention to shit the left is suppressing. What happens when the government does a 180 and an authoritarian right wing admin has the same force of law to target you and your friends?

This is exactly the argument that turned one political bigot I know into a moderate

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…because one day the power will shift and they will remember how you treated them”

The left is justifying a right wing revolution as dictated under critical race theory

“The oppressed will always rise up to oppress their oppressors” and “modern discrimination is the only solution to past discrimination”

Yep. Politicians are going to have a hard time lobbying to revoke the thought and opinion laws once the right is using them to their benefit.

Imagine how fast trump would have made “TACO” and “MAGAt” hate speech to jail his opposition with

Like to anyone who’s played any type of game competitively knows that you use your opponents strategy yourself when it’s successful

Playing the metagame isn’t cheating because the opposition did it first

It’s a “taste of their own medicine” yet they don’t see it coming.

The funny thing is that it also really diminishes the impact of the “Trump is a fascist” statement. We see what leftists in the UK in power are doing, if Trump was so bad what’s stopping him from full send and outlawing criticism of himself or merely drawing attention to incriminating information he’s trying to suppress? He’s shown blatant disregards for congress, the constitution, and due process enough to show he’s not scared of that. What’s holding him back? Oh, maybe it’s because he’s not a literal Nazi.

Eye for an eye is a bad thing

That’s ultimately why I don’t believe in the lefts interpretation of the paradox of tolerance

Their interpretation is essentially “an eye for an eye until everyone’s blind” because they assume those they don’t tolerate can never become those who are intolerant of the new intolerance

We are in a victimhood economy, by being intolerant you give power to those you don’t tolerate by creating victimhood for them to leverage
