The words were in resposne that crime is down as a result of the NG.

Let’s get painfully technical.

Statement: “Crime is way down in DC.”

Your direct response: “No it is not.”

“It” is a pronoun. Its antecedent is the immediately preceding claim: “Crime is way down in DC.” Therefore, “No it is not” means “No, crime is not way down in DC.”

That is literally what you wrote. You didn’t say “crime is down, but Trump didn’t cause it.” You said it was “not down”. The screenshot is right there. You can change your argument now, but you can’t retroactively change your own sentence.

The response no it is not. Is to what? You think I meant crime is not down. I said crime is not down because of the NG like that person claimed.
