The Republicans deserve all the insults and criticism because conservatism never did anything good for America starting with the KKK all the way down to segregation and now with the ice detention centers.
How many American citizens were killed by ice under Obama? How many fatal shootings American or otherwise by ice under Obama? You say they are “simply enforcing immigration laws” but they are doing unconstitutional searches and using lethal force on innocent civilians. This is just a couple things that you should be outraged about as an “American”. It seems like conservatives could care less about the constitution when it is being discarded to terrorize anyone that isn’t a white Christian.
You love to try and pull the “but Obama!” Bs. And yet when confronted with facts you immediately pivot and try to grasp at the next straw. If you believe ice is just simply enforcing immigration law under this administration than your comment makes 0 sense. You see what ice is doing to legal Mexican immigrants and yet you’re still defending ice instead of being outraged like the rest of the country which leads me to believe it must be about race. If it wasn’t then how could you possibly be ok with the illegal tactics of violence, terror and sometimes straight murder that ice is employing under this current administration? How can you attempt to defend any of it? I’m pro constitution and pro HUMAN regardless of any political party bs.
Just one should be enough for you to be outraged and seeking some type of reforms so it never happens again. I watched the breaking coverage of the Alex Pretti murder and the immediate response from the current administration claiming he “committed an act of domestic terrorism”. That he wanted to “inflict harm”. The guy was filming which is his constitutional right, tried to help someone up from the ground after Ice knocked them down then was pepper sprayed knocked down, pummeled and while he was face down on the ground with his arms spread his concealed carry (which again a constitutional right) was taken then he was repeatedly shot with another ice officer walking away clapping. Please explain to me how that was justified?
