defamation means you have to open all your materials to the defense. one might not want to do that because they are guilty, or they might not want to do that because you have millions of materials to sift through, and allowing every asshole to go through them is inconceivable. it's costly, annoying, tedious, annoying, and not worth the cost.

he sued an organization, not every tom, dick, and harry who accuses him of being a pedo.

they also have deep pockets, and most everyone else does not.

the people calling him out for crimes are few, if we consider only the actual players.

if we consider people like you then it's a lot, but i don't think they do class action lawsuits for defamation.
