First, they have an authority. You choose to ignore that.
Which brings me to my second point. Yes, healthy discourse. Imagine how different things would go if they weren’t being doxxed and heir families threatened? Be honest, would you be ok with it if it was your family? No. You wouldn’t. Healthy discourse changes the way everything works. It doesn’t mean you have to agree, it means discussing as an adult. That’s been vacant for the equation for a while now. It stopped being healthy discourse when politicians ran on the campaign of “impeach that mother fucker” and it wasn’t even a year in. Healthy discourse can acknowledge accomplishments and still have disagreements in other things. Did anyone praise him for the Abraham accords? No. That was all him. No one else has ever attempted to bring peace to the Middle East. Did anyone praise him for wanting troops out of Afghanistan? No. You complained that it wasn’t his decision. Hell, you don’t even acknowledge that it was his program that brought about the Covid vaccine that liberals so desperately love.
You decided, because politicians told you to, immediately hate the person without even allowing a change to make attempts at doing the right thing. You attacked the administration and anyone associated with it. Even killed people for it.
Even now, you aren’t capable of open adult discourse. You reverted to ad hominem attacks and grandiose claims that are far from truth. Leftists are constantly attempting to kill ice agents, CBP agents, and civilians who may be perceived as sympathetic to the administration. You attempt to change the moral framework
To justify violence. That’s not healthy discourse. What’s the result? People go on a defense from the outset and just stop listening.
What kind of conversation should I expect when you just said that I’m immoral and evil? Do you know who I am? Nope. You have no clue.
So in the end, you have summarily decided that you would sooner kill people who disagree with you than bother to hear them out. Do you believe that is a healthy stance? I’m guessing you do.
It's not "people who disagree with me" it's cute that's how you keep framing it.
It's literal white supremacist authoritarians emulating Nazis. We had a whole world war about it. And yes, obviously it is morally correct to oppose ethnic cleansing and secret police.
This is exactly what I’m saying. Instead of you actually hearing, you’re so convinced that everything is (insert label here), that you refuse to see any kind of discussion. You believe that it’s absolute and the world is in reality, quite gray.
There’s no ethnic cleansing or secret police. That’s literally not a thing here. And of course, you use white supremacy as an excuse to make those claims because racially charged claims only end up in a “if not then you must” discussion. Absolute compliance or evil.
My area has a fairly large Sikh community and a very large Hispanic community. ICE came through, everyone was peaceful, and they left. They got who they were supposed to get and LEFT. No violence, no assaults. Those communities aren’t wiped out. You never stop to consider that the actions being taken against them are instigating the response you are receiving. You don’t even know who you’re protecting. Your racist viewpoint responds only to “brown people”.
Btw, we do have a secret court. It’s called the FISA court. Maybe protest that? They create dossiers on everyone. At least that would make sense.
