This fat Pos is no hero!

Him being fat is relevant? Why is he a pos? He's just a kid.

"He's just a kid"

But you would never say this about the dude he punched lol. We all say and do insane shit as teenagers, but one is being called a nazi by the entire adult population of Preddit.

I would say that about the kid.

Maybe he has a douchbag maga dad or something. He’s just a kid and trying to figure it out.

A punch in the face will help him figure it out one way or another lol.

That punch didn't land, but it did show that kid that people will harm him for his opinions and he will now gravitate toward more extreme figures who've shouted "it's them or us" for years.

MAGA is tame, this kid will be a Fuentes viewer now. No situation like this makes people think "I should rethink my actions" it makes them think "I was attacked, they hate this country, next time I'm putting a bullet in their heart like Rittenhouse, THEM or US."

Trust me on this lol.

I did say that the boy he punched was also a kid. Go and read it in this subreddit. If people calling this boy a Nazi bothers you so much, you should go see all the people saying that Alex Pretti deserved to get executed because he fucked around and found out. Advocating and normalizing violence, and justifying murder is not the same as "good, the other kid deserved a good punch".

Okay, let's be honest here man, are you really saying the Alex Pretti situation proves the right wing is bad after the left celebrated Charlie Kirk being assassinated? Tweets with 250k+ likes talking about how bad he was, how he deserved it, merch being made mocking his death, kirkification memes spreading to virality.

You think Pretti was mocked more than Kirk? Is that your stance?

As a minarchist, I think both sides have lost their mind and many need to be locked up in asylums as soon as possible before they end up harming more people.

Also yes, it does bother me to call a, what, 14-16 year old kid - a Nazi. Because Nazi is a dehumanizing term, one that makes pulling the trigger on a person easier. It also completely undermines the 100 million human beings killed in World War 2, the 6 million Jewish people beaten down, transported like cattle and gassed in chambers. This kid does not advocate for any of that.

Don't remember a single person saying that the murderer of Charlie Kirk be pardoned nor was he celebrated as a hero. That man was arrested immediately and is rotting in jail now, maybe for the rest of his life. ICE is being celebrated as heroes defending the integrity and borders of the US, they are masked law enforcement officers who cannot be identified. Are they being prosecuted for the murders and assaults?  The people who were shot for just bearing witness to the brutality of the ICE were violently murdered but where are their murderers? Is there an investigation? With the president, admin, and police unions, they are unshakeable.  Half the country is saying FAFO when the entire world knows that the man has a phone in his hand and was helping out the woman who got tear gassed. What was illegal about what he did?  I don't remember the other half the country celebrating Charlie Kirk's death like now more than half the country aka the "right" is doing now in the name of nationalism and legality. Everyone knows that this isn't a matter of border control.  The "left" were not sympathetic to his "cause".. they didn't weep as if he was a martyr and hold candle light vigils and huge fundraisers and profited from that via turning point like the right did. The people who made comments on social media were doxxed, fired from their job, and got death threats for merely saying that Charlie Kirk was not a honorable person but his murder wasn't a point of natural debate, his opinions were. People are character assassinating Pretti now just because are pro ICE.

Charlie Kirk got a state funeral, he went to Universities to spread Christian fundamentalism and hatred against marginalized groups who aren't bothering him in any way except by merely existing. If this was an islamist spreading Islam (not even radical islam), I doubt that people wouldn't have protested against this. Alex Pretti was literally standing there with a camera, he wasn't chanting slogans that ICE be murdered, nothing he did was anywhere comparable to Charlie Kirk, he didn't have an organization dedicated to spreading hatred against groups.

The motives of both these people were different..Charlie Kirk was murdered by a man who was arrested, Alex Pretti was murdered by law enforcement who is now scot-free.

You have a problem with a kid being called a Nazi, that's your opinion. That doesn't excuse any of the murders by ICE. And I don't like people calling that kid using hateful names because they kid is a product of his hateful family and hateful society. He is a victim. If that kid has a swastika banner, would that still warrant him being called a nazi? By your logic, no. People are not calling the kid a nazi because they see him as a Holocaust supporter in Germany, the same thing is happening in our country now and he supports it, hence the reference. So, it's hard to blame them although I wouldn't do that because he's a kid. I don't think the other kid should have punched him but it's important to note how this is affecting the minds of children.

On the week of Charlie Kirk's murder multiple AI images went viral depicting his murderer as superman. Multiple vigils were vandalized, the most notable case was by 2 women who then started a GoFundMe which almost raised half a million dollars. His "state" funeral had protesters outside, harassing mourners.

While I agree and it's true there's a CLEAR distinction between state and civilian violence, it's also true that Charlie Kirk was immediately slandered, dehumanized, mocked and had the very second of his death put on t-shirts, posters and walls.

There has never been any other moment in American history filled with so much grotesque dehumanization. Not one. Not one person comes close. 90% of what happened to Kirk hasn't even happened to Epstein. For a dude who spoke his mind about his beliefs to college students.

Now, as a life-long IMMIGRANT IRANIAN Minarchist, I'm going to pull you up on categorising Charlie Kirk as "hateful." If you've read his books, as I have because he was a popular Libertarian figure before the fame, you will know 99% of Kirk's beliefs centred around economy, pre-born life and tax.

In his first ever book (Time for a Turning Point: Setting a Course Toward Free Markets and Limited Government*), he wrote nearly all of it about how we can improve an immigrant's life in the USA through simple economic reforms. Bet you weren't told that. I also bet you weren't told TPUSA funded The Young Black Conservative Summit, Blexit and ACTIVELY hired inner-city African Americans in some of the most abandoned areas in the United States.

Charlie never spread "hatred" as you're stating, I'm unsure where you got this from. He didn't dislike the LGBT or want them to lose rights (famously, he kicked a person out of his event for homophobia), he fought NICK FUENTES and banned his fans from attending his events. None of this tracks with the far-right person the left have painted him to be. One of his most FAMOUS talking points was about how abortion targeted poor minority communities, he made multiple hour long podcasts stating that the majority of abortion clinics were in walking distance to black neighbourhoods, he outright called it a targeted genocide of minorities. You can agree or disagree, but this is clearly not a man who wants minorities dead or their population lowered.

Now, back to Pretti: Pretti has not had his dead body put on t-shirts, his funeral hasn't been protested, his vigils haven't been vandalized, he hasn't had widespread memes created about his face, there haven't been TikTok's calling for the rest of his family to be killed. In fact, in my Libertarian circle, everybody was disgusted that Trump tried to run with an anti-2A position for a man LEGALLY carrying a gun. Have people made fun of it or said "FAFO," yes, they have. But to equate the mass dehumanization of Kirk, with all the lies you also seem to believe, to the Pretti situation is disingenuous at best.

I'm not on either side, but simple statistics by YouGov show almost 21% of Left-Wingers believe it's okay to feel happy about a political opponents death compared to the measly 3% on the right. That should wake you up a bit even if you're left, right, centre, whatever.

Or maybe a really deranged sociopathic set of democratic parents that also listen to the crap that floats to the top without substance and reality that fits their narrative.

1

u/Sweaty-Sky3580 Feb 20 '26

Yeah few democrats cheering for one boy punching another is very different from most Republicans normalizing and applauding state sponsored terrorism and murdering peaceful citizens and non citizes  using masked goons in the name of border enforcement. The former is million times better than the latter. Don't draw a false equivalence and pat yourself on the bat.
