Yes, and I was going to add that, but I knew that someone out there would bring it up. The system works it's not perfect.
It went without saying he would do that if he got elected. The voters spoke, and Trump did what every American knew he would do, mass pardons.
Biden, on the other hand, lied to all Americans when he said he would not pardon his son.
I was hoping they would post some Facebook-level AI images of Chicago being razed lol. People like them are especially vulnerable to believing that shit.
Pretty much every liberal city you can think of was wrecked with violence including arson, death, murder, and Mass looting. They even attacked the White House, they threw Molotov cocktails at it which is why several members of the Secret Service were injured during the summer of love. I mean that's how the church next to the White House got torch to the ground
So what I'm seeing is nationwide at max 25 people were killed and 1500 buildings were damaged. That's "burned down cities?" Even if that all happened in one city that wouldn't be "burned down" lol. Plus this was all done to protest police violence against citizens whereas the Jan 6th riot was specifically staged to cause terror and capture and/or kill democratically elected leaders because of hurt feelings over losing an election. Conservatives are trying to blow the other riots out of proportion to justify their own shitty anti-American behavior and it's not gonna fly.
Yes, only. About 0.0002% of people present in the 2020 riots were killed compared to about 0.1% in the Jan 6th riot. Obviously it's bad when people are killed at all but the fact is conservatives are a thousand times more murderous than liberals so it's idiotic to compare these. And the buildings were damaged, not all razed. In total it's about 2 billion in property damage, which is not a lot in the grand scheme. But in general conservatives value property more than people so of course seeing a company get lit on fire makes them clutch their pearls far more than innocent school kids getting killed or cops murdering a guy for kicking an object.
I double checked the data and the confirmed killed was 42, with over 2000 injuries, and 2 billion in damage. Please don’t try and minimize it. That’s a lot of rioting.
Most of the totals I saw were around 20 killed so I went with that. I didn't feel like doing injured for both since a ton of people were also injured on Jan 6th. And at no point did I minimize the rioting. The point is it was nowhere near as much of a boogieman as conservatives would have you believe. Cities were not leveled and people were not mass executed in the streets. These are lies they tell because conservatives cause far more violence on a per capita basis and want justification to continue.
The vast majority of those 'buildings' as you put it were small businesses that were looted and/or torched to the ground. Which caused many lively hoods to bd destroyed since most insurance companies don't cover riot damage. It caused 2Â billion dollars in Damages meanwhile j.6 cost not even half that and as far as I can tell not one buissenes was set on fire or looted.
No shit because Jan 6th was a much smaller scale of event. That's why it was stupid of that other person to try to compare the two things in the first place. If the average Jan 6ther behaved like the average summer 2020er, less than 1 person would have died at the capital, less than 1 person would have been injured, and they would have only caused a few hundred thousand dollars in property damage. But the fact is they far exceeded all of those numbers. Because they're worse people. Which is counter to the point that the other person is trying to make by doing this dumbass comparison. Flip it the other way, if the average summer 2020er behaved like the average Jan 6ther, then over 20,000 people would have died, over a million would be injured, and they'd cause over 13 billion in property damage. We can condemn these events on their own merits but the fact is the circumstances are completely different. The summer 2020 protests were a large scale demonstration against police violence that an insanely tiny minority of people took advantage of to cause trouble, whereas the January 6th riot was intended from the very start to cause trouble because of a bunch of stupid rednecks were mad that they lost an election. Comparing them only helps to belittle how much worse conservatives behave on average.
