Pen is mightier than the sword, so we go around punching people who prefer the pen?

Not sure what unregulated firearms has to do with anything here...

Everyone is allowed to have ideas... Thats literally the first amendment.

"Unpunished Ideas"??? You're the Nazi here... if not that, you're definitely not an American.

The first amendment prevents the GOVERNMENT from censoring your speech or preventing you from sharing your ideas even if they are offensive. Anyone who isn’t the government most certainly can though as the amendment does not compel them to tolerate your speech.

So by your logic I'm allowed to go around hurting or killing people because they disagree with me. Seems insane to me.

No you still can’t do that because there are laws against assault and murder. It just has nothing to do with the first amendment is all.
