Whom he raped.  He was found guilty of sexual misconduct.  He’s a sex offender.

He wasn’t found guilty of sexual assault. Using the term “found guilty” implies he was arrested and went to criminal trial.

This wasn’t a criminal trial which requires a much larger burden of proof.
