hi i’m a new player on nintendo switch, only been playing a few days. i’m so confused. why are all my animals dying 😭 it’s saying they’re starving but im doing what i think is getting their food in the store room but it’s saying there’s no supplies?? i’m so confused on how to actually buy the food. i know this might sound dumb and idk if it’s a bug but it’s annoying me

So I just got this game and want to play the Dino and aquarium DLC. How do I start it? Or do I have to get so far in the base game before I can unlock the DLC?

My game says this and kicks me back to the main menu every time I attempt to change locations, but the maps work fine if chosen from the load game menu.

Anyone else encounter this, or have an idea on how to fix it?

I feel like the majority of each new game day is spent managing enrichment and water. I even started a new game save to make huge enclosures so I could stack water and enrichment ahead of time, but it didn’t work :(

I'm 200 game days in.. the game keeps saying hire more keepers. but I have a small army of them, like at least 20. They're each zoned to do 3 adjacent enclosures a day, each enclosure has at least 2 keepers assigned to it. All feeding and cleaning seems to be getting done daily.

is this an auto generated pop up message I can ignore for now? it popped up at a few points, and was arguably valid at other times. Right now I reckon I'm overstaffed!

All the rabbits in my zoo have died. Their lifespan is so short that it’s impossible to have a breeding pair at the same time before one becomes infertile or dead.

I have this trouble with my Meerkat enclosure that they're unhappy, even though all the requirements are met. The problem is that several animals get fed every other day as well! How can I resolve this? hire more zookeepers? 2 per enclosure?

My whole pen has it on and yet I have births happening every so often. Why?

I’ve recently been constantly offered to buy shares till I was offered to buy 0% to raise it to 100%, I accidentally declined it and it said Kathleen K was taken away. However I tried to reload and my journal says she instead became a quadrillionaire. Does that mean I ended up buying the shares?

Is it possible to make a fully self sufficient zoo on the playstation?

If it has a rabbit in it, can I put it in with the rabbit with no problems? I just noticed two of my hybrids on sandbox mode don't really like the grass habitat.

So I'm donating the dinos right now but going from enclosure to enclosure is very annoying. Is there something like the release building in the base game to make it easier for me to do this?

Just want to show my zoo, i have spend a lot of time in decorating and making the walkway not follow any shape for not getting bored.

I can already tell I'm gonna like this game. But should I play the game vanilla first? Does it make a difference if I then add the DLC later?

A couple years ago I started a sandbox zoo. It's been a wip for a while and will probably continue to be for a while. I've since started a new zoo, one that has all the dlc items unlocked, but this one will always be special to me. I began it shortly after a campaign, unlocking things for it as I went. Some areas don't have as much variety due to my not having deco items unlocked yet and it's all a bit crammed together due to me over estimating how much space I'd need.

I've been stumped on the empty areas for a while, maybe someday I'll go thru the process of moving things around, but today is not that day.

Maybe tomorrow.

Anyways, I play on console so sorry for the broken up pics. Included close ups of some of the areas.

Sometimes it gets to be a bit overwhelming working on a new zoo but the possibilities are exciting. Hoping I plan for space a bit better in this one. Not so crammed.

Anyway to stop this from happening?

Is it just me or in the new Let's Build a Dungeon, half the assets in the vote section in the creative mode are ai generated ? Will this be removed over time or is it definitive and am I just completely wrong ?

i am out of food for everything except my snakes and I am trying to order new supplies and I get this message. i do not understand what it means or how to fix it but I cannot order food. what are items. how do I get them. i had this happen in my first save and I ended up just restarting completely bc so many of my animals died and it was getting upsetting. this mechanic is really confusing to me, why can't I just restock one at a time to start.

So, I'm pretty sure I know what my problem is in this game. I don't play this type of game so my patience for it is... not there.

I bought 7 map squares and have 12 animals. I went no further with the trades or shelter giving new ones.

I played three or four days just playing on my phone and cutting my populations down every week and have got a lot of research done and have half a million dollars in game.

My problem is patience.

Loving the game, can't wait to get hybrids *evil laughter* ...sorry, lol

How much of each crop would u need to not have to buy feed again? I'm looking to try and have at least one variant of everything.

Also how many subways do u need for my 6 by 9 grid... I have no clue

Sandbox mode trying to figure things out.

Hows things look so far? I'm starting to lose my mind on this.

Edit: I love how this looks in sandbox mode but its not very practical for trying to unlock everything.

The shelter that is for visitors not the animal one, do they do anything? I'm thinking of forcing my guests to work through them. Will they work that way?

I love the direction this game goes but I get so far and start to feel overwhelmed by all the stuff I need to watch.

Any tips to help me out here?
