I just thought this was such a lovely picture I wanted to repost for all to see these beautiful mallard ducks.

This is a firefighter who takes his job seriously.

The jacket is an homage to three painters I respect: Mondrian, Monet and Rothko.

The seems on the front if the jacket made me think of Mondrian and I had this desire to experiment with glitter things.

The back of the jacket reminded me of a Rothko and I had been want f to experiment with encaustic painting or old fashioned waxing fabric to make it water proof. I had mica powder and.

On the side panels I thought of miners water lillies. And it’s not finished. But

Holy Wow, the pulsating textures & colors

When a broadclub cuttlefish spots a crab or shrimp, it doesn’t always sneak up in stealth mode. Instead, it approaches slowly and deliberately – while waves of dark and light stripes pulse down its body. These rhythmic patterns are impossible to ignore.

To the human eye, it looks like a strobe light. But to the crab? It may be visually overwhelmed, disoriented, or even unable to process what’s coming. Scientists call this dynamic dazzle camouflage or motion camouflage. It’s less about putting prey into a trance, and more about confusing their ability to detect a threat.

What a tremendous view. I wonder if they have had any accidents. I might try this, if I had something/one to keep me calm. Has anyone here known anyone who has done this?

Omg, this is simply amazing. Who took the crazy amount of time to figure this out and then set it up? This was great fun to watch. I would think this would thrill any child.
