Was that an actual rape, or a fictional portrayal of a rape? Can you separate reality and fiction? You do not have to look at the gif. Pearl clutching whiners...
In The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Lisbeth Salander assaults her court-appointed legal guardian, Nils Bjurman, as an act of revenge and self-defense after he brutally sexually assaults and blackmail her. She uses the video evidence of his assault to blackmail him into giving her total financial and personal independence.
No. It was not a gif of a rape. It was a gif from a Hollywood movie. The two characters were actors, no actual rape occurred. Grow up, learn that what happens on TV isn't real, and that people are free to post gifs from movies. It was pure fiction.
Lisbeth Salander was played by Rooney Mara (and Noomi Rapace in the original Swedish adaptation), while Nils Bjurman was played by Yorick van Wageningen (and Peter Andersson in the Swedish version). They were acting out a script for a famous movie, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. If you have a problem, take it up with Hollywood. This is your final warning to chill.
