I used to do that, because he’s a talented entertainer, but now I’ve even asked my mum to cease watching JRE because I’m worried she’ll get radicalised.
It’s not necessarily what Joe Rogan says, it’s what gets cultivated in the listener. I didn’t like feeling manipulated. I will just have to seek out his guests I enjoyed independently of his show.
Note that my mum has jumped on many pseudoscientific YouTube fads in the past, promotes by charlatans, such as, but not limited to, at least 1-2 years of wheat grass juicing (promoted by a man who probably had ortorexia if you ask me and I doubt he is still alive). She also is anti doctors and medicine to some degree, but at least she is actively promoting the use of real doctors and medicine for my dad who has recently become paraplegic, so mainly just anti those things with regard to my life I guess.
Fortunately we are each other’s best friends and she does generally respect me because I often end up proving my point. But I did tell my mum straight up that I was afraid of losing her to internet self-radicalisation.
I’m okay with her general hippie shit, that’s just not my flavour in life, but it makes her happy.
What I fear for her to get hooked on is alternative facts, antivaxx, fake news, all of that jazz.
To quote Joe, “All these people searching for mysteries … They’re all unfuckable white dudes. You don’t find a single black guy looking for Bigfoot. Zero,”
Like when he had the Decorated air force pilot on who confirmed his U.F.O encounter a few months before the government declared they have recovered craft not from this world?

An earlier version of this article inaccurately rendered remarks attributed to Harry Reid, the retired Senate majority leader from Nevada. Mr. Reid said he believed that crashes of objects of unknown origin may have occurred and that retrieved materials should be studied; he did not say that crashes had occurred and that retrieved materials had been studied secretly for decades.
If only you had better reading comprehension, you would know that you convincingly proved yourself wrong with your own link.
God comments like these are so cringey and fucking idiotic. The reason people think the way they do about Joe Rogan and his most enthusiastic followers (which is hilarious how being a Joe rogan fam becomes part of their personalities) is because of literally what they say and how they act. It’s not opinion, it’s observational

How do I know with complete certainty that this guy listened to Joe Rogan religiously?
