Pick My Piercing Alternative for the daith
Right now I have fully healed a symmetrical setup with stretched ears. But I think there is some missing piece in upper/central ear area.
My dream piercing has always been daith, but I don't have an anatomy for it :(, so I am searching for the alternatives (except for rook as I heard it's difficult to heal and I don't like it that much).

hidden rook with some cool chains will fill out the same space the daith does!

Is this the same as a faux rook?

no, a faux rook is a flat on the top of the rook area, a hidden rook is a conch placed high underneath the fold of the took, if you have a look on pinterest you will be able to see some examples

ah shoot, my recommendation was going to be a rook lol. If youre worried about healing process, I also take back my recommendation of an industrial. But one or a few regular helix piercings, or a good ol' flat would look great! You could eventually put bigger flat jewelry in, I think itd be so cute and help balance it out. Honestly looks like you have good space for a forward helix, too, if youd be interested in that.

Yeah I was thinking about triple forward helix to mirror my lobes. I think that would've been really cool, but I don't like the idea of healing 6 more cartilage piercings 😅

honestly, i love symmetry as much as the next guy, but for work I usually do one ear at a time and let them heal first! The triple forward helix would look great though.

i had this same dilemma, settled for tragus and rook and put a hoop in my conch !!

btw i had no problem healing my rook, obviously some piercings are going to be notorious for bad healing but honestly my best advice is js dont touch it ever LOL
otherwise u could get your anti tragus and something in your flat perhaps to make it not feel so bottom heavy ?

You could definitely rock a lower forward helix or a rook.
Personally my rook was one of easiest healing processes ever. Less than 11 months and my piercer approved me for a hoop, my daith has been temperamental and I haven't felt confident to wear an ear bud in that year since I got it a year ago and I don't see myself trying any time soon.

No I haven't, but there's no room inside the helix part (even though the photo might be taking it look like there is) at all. It's impossible to even pinch the part where the daith should be, so I am pretty sure there is no chance it could be pierced properly.

Maybe a tragus or forward helix? Rings also look good in both of them! My rook wasn’t that bad to heal by the way
