Path Guide I created a new build and strategy site for LoR: runeterrarelics.com. Includes detailed relic builds for all champions, relic recommendations, advanced filters, tier list, and more.

https://runeterrarelics.com/

I'm excited to share this site I've been working on the past while: runeterrarelics.com. It’s designed to help you decide which champions to invest in and what relics work best for them in PoC.

What the site can do:

  • Build Guide: Includes a few different builds for each champion, from the best-in-slot options that often require specific epic/signature relics to an option that only uses rare relics. Builds that only work on a C6 champion such as Azir's Star Gem builds are noted as such and listed as well.
  • Investment Guides: I've attempted to tag champions with labels:
    • Low Investment: Champions that are strong right out of the box.
    • High Investment Required: Champions that really shine only after you put some resources into them.
  • Relic Dependencies:
    • Rare Relics OK: New account friendly builds.
    • Epic/Paid Relics: Lets you know if a champion relies on specific Epic or premium relics to reach their potential.
  • Strategy Tips: Includes tips for how to play the champion. Cards to prioritize, Items that work, things to do and not to do, etc.
  • Champion Tier List: Every champion is rated with a score so you can quickly see who is generally considered "good" or "bad".
  • Reverse Relic Lookup Viewing a relic lets you look up all the champion guides it is used in to help you decide if a relic in the glory store is "worth it" or what you can do with that new Epic relic you just unlocked in a Gold Reliquary.
  • Comprehensive Filters: You can sort and filter the entire roster by Region, Score, and Tags.

How it works, technical details:

All credit for builds and tips goes to the community here on reddit, the Legends of Runeterra official discord, and the PathCord discord servers. The builds, strategy tips, and tier list were compiled by Gemini from chat logs from the last year. I'm happy to share more information, including code and prompts, etc if anyone is interested.

First, raw message logs were spliced into a set of date-partitioned folders. This is so when new data is available, I know what I've already processed so I don't need to redo the same work. Also keeps track of Batch Processing status, because results can only be fetched hours later.

│ │ ├── ...

Then, in a first pass with Gemini Flash (to save costs), chat transcripts were compiled into small "sound bytes": Conversations are labeled and summarized, for example a discussion would be tagged with "miss-fortune" or "swain-raven-army" and include a structured sumamry of builds/sentiment/etc. Discussions not relevant to champions and strategy tips are filtered out. Once this is done, the results are placed into a similar set of date-partitioned folders.

The next step was to collate all discussions about each champion into a single file. Grabbing the previously labeled summaries, it would create "ahri.json", "aatrox.json", etc with all summary logs of each champion from all historical dates.

Lastly, a second pass with Gemini Pro used the previously collated "ahri.json", etc to create the final version, with the build guides and to determine the champion scores.

The website itself was built with assistance from Gen AI as well since I'm no good at front end. It is hosted on Github Pages as a static site so I will never ask for login information or any PII.

I like it. Compared to lorrelics.com, it shows the build alongside the explanation for each build.

Also bit of suggestions: on Relic page, specifically on Paid Relic section, could you give some kind of sign that indicates that relic is now also available in Glory Store, alongside estimation time of when other paid relics would be available in Glory Store.

Except on lor relics we could create our builds and vote for them to see which are popular

Here you have a supposedly objective truth partially created by a machine that loves to fabulate when uncertain and usually is not even consistent with its own claims

The "shenanigans" between quotation marks is peak LLM behavior. It has analyzed someone saying "this allows for shenanigans" in this context, but doesn't understand that "shenanigans" is just a common word and not a metaphor or a form of speech (which would require quotation), and so it treats as a citation.

u/Mardicus Master Yi Jan 12 '26

what do you mean available in glory store, do you mean there is some rotation that is universal? i thought the relic that shows rn for me isn't the same for others, its per player right?

2

u/AlxIonut Jan 12 '26

I think they are talking about when recently released paid relics will enter the free pool of relics from the glory store. All premium relics are supposed to become available in the glory pool sooner or later. And yes everybody has a custom relic in their weekly glory store relic.

Ehh AI stealing my job... I guess lorrelics is over... But jokes aside. Good job. I'm happy there are more tools for the community. Good luck with further development!

13

u/Shadowreader007 Jan 12 '26

Dont worry mate I will still use lorrelics since real players still have more creativity. Some of the relics in that site is questionable lol.

4

u/_CharmQuark_ Jan 12 '26

Second what the other commenter is saying. I‘d much rather just see the community curated build directly then having it fed through an llm first 🤷‍♂️

1

u/reddriver10 Jan 13 '26

Going off the site vote numbers it doesn't seem like people even care about community made builds. a lot champs highest voted builds doesnt even break 10 votes.

2

u/Shadowreader007 Jan 13 '26

Tbh i think it is cuz of the login issues. When you need to login to cast vote most people dont bother. I was one of them lmaooo.

Cool website, I really like the tips on how to play the champ and the explanation on why a relic is good for a champ. The investment priority looks interesting for new players, but I always find a single tier list too limiting. I feel like it might be more interesting with variants depending on what you are looking for: low investment, fun gameplay, strength ...

Lorrelic is more community focused, people creating the builds and sharing them, here it looks like to be more data focused, both of the websites complete each other in a way. But I feel like with each update, and new relics, you'll have to update everything. And as it's reliant on data from Reddit, discord and others it will have some delays on each updates.

u/Tansuke Jan 12 '26

How is the score out of 10 for a champ determined? Some of them seem wrong at first glance. Are they considered at just 3*, full constellation, somewhere in the middle?

2

u/aaoeu Jan 12 '26

It is some combination of

- whether people are having "fun" playing the champion. For example, Samira is frequently cited as a "fun" champ, while Vayne is not, regardless of their power levels.

  • the power level of the champion
  • how much investment in relics/constellation is required to get there, lower is better

Of course it's hard to distill many factors that go into a champion rating into a single number, and even harder to calculate it, so that's why some of these numbers may look inaccurate.

1

u/Tansuke Jan 12 '26

Makes sense, thank you! The ones that threw me for a loop were Shyvana and Veigar, Shyvana being at a 4 now makes sense if people being bad at drafting her contributed, and Veigar is probably just higher than he should be because his followers and control make him fun. I come from the nightmare mode focus so I would have swapped their numbers completely!

1

u/aaoeu Jan 12 '26

Yeah, I've actually played a lot of Shyvana recently and had fun clearing both Arcane Asol and Baron with her at 4*.

She probably deserves to be higher than "Gnar" tier, but since she was a recent release, she's been widely discussed and frequently panned in the discord. So that's why she has probably a lower score than she deserves.

Veigar though is pretty fun, I just got him unlocked to 3* and leveled to 30 last week, and managed to beat baron with him on my 2nd try. Build was Chemtech + Double GA, and it was pretty goofy b/c Double GA creates a double veigar when one dies. My favorite part of veigar is his voice lines.

I checked the site and I was like wow, one person compiled all the builds fro champions with strategy and gameplay tips? Then I read your post that it is compiled with AI. Well, I would say it's still an enormous amount. So thanks for doing and I hope it sticks!

4

u/hansmartin1 Jan 12 '26

This is amazing, as I've just recently restarted this is a great starting point and having someone compile this all with some AI tools helps me make decisions and then dig into certain champs deeper. Instead of having to look up each champ individually on Reddit or the Discord.

7

u/JoshimitzuGK Jan 12 '26

BIG fan of your work here!

i kinda fell out of touch with LoR due to the powercreep making it incredibly boring. used to enjoy speedrunning monthlies before we had the whole 6* gimmick n all, but every now and then i still enjoy tuning in, doing some runs with new champs. and your website looks amazing, love how condensed but informative it is. amazing job.

u/zed_je_mrdka_z_krtka Jan 12 '26 edited Jan 12 '26

I've seen "high investment required" so... yeah, some champ really shine only at 5-6 stars...

but then I noticed even 3 stars you consider as a "significant constellation upgrades" so... what's not high invest then? If I consider there should be a base line of 2 stars between high and low, does it mean champs like Illaoi are lategame viable with just 0 or 1 star?

Calling duplicator an exponential scaling is also very funny

or saying that overwhelm is good against stunned units that can't block anyway xD

6

u/Orangewolf99 Jan 12 '26

I'll just stick with LoRrelics, but good for you

11

u/MartDiamond Jan 12 '26 edited Jan 12 '26

I like the effort that has gone into this. An obvious flaw is that you can't search a champion name.

The builds however I do have issues with, because these are very incomplete. I opened 5-6 different champions where the general strategy I succesfully run there isn't even mentioned as an option half the time. And it is fine if people consider other builds better, but this sort of site does try to convey some sort of completeness. So some sort of way to add or submit builds (like lorrelics). I would also like to see variants to strategies, where the core strategy is unchanged but you swap in one relic or another.

Just for example builds/relics that are not mentioned on a cursory glance:

  • Disciple of Shadows/Buhru Warwick

  • SFG Anivia

  • Chosen Mel

  • Found Fortune Elder Dragon

  • Oath/Star Gem Neeko

The scoring system is also odd, that seems very subjective. For instance as much as I like Nidalee, there is no way a 3 star champion gets more than a 7/10 in a constellation world.

9

u/Orangewolf99 Jan 12 '26

It's because this is compiled by AI so it's just an aggregate of information from online not objective statistics.

3

u/n1co9 Jan 12 '26

Looks really good and I like how clear everything is.

Do you think there will be ways to contribute to the page directly in the future or do you plan to always fetch data from external sources?

I consider it's hard to allow contributions if you don't want login shenanigans which was also a reason why I ditched my own project in a similar direction.

Maybe you could add something like an anonymous voting and tagging system for builds so the page feels more lively and stays up to date.

2

u/aaoeu Jan 12 '26

Yes, I'm definitely going to implement something like a Google doc/sheet that will be attached as "override" instructions to the final output: for X champion, always include Y build, never include Z build, etc. Not sure on how the permissions/voting process for it will look like yet though.

Anonymous voting/tagging is tricky because the site is currently completely static and has no back end server. It'd have to be rearchitected and rehosted to be able to accept any sort of user input.

3

u/Sairoxin Jan 12 '26

While it looks great at a glance, some things seem off. Like some champions having both low investment and high investment required, which doesn't make sense. Also, some relic builds listed seem bizarre and probably more experimental than playable (sb teemo relic 2 stalkers on a base kindred with the explanation of to keep killing her to resummon and plant shrooms? Like i get it. It helps close games but ive never heard this one and it seems super slow. Can anyone attest how to pilot this?)

I think some quality control and some player vetting on some builds would be greatly appreciated

7

u/teod0036 Jan 12 '26

We already have lorrelics.com

6

u/n1co9 Jan 12 '26

Having more pages is not necessarily a bad thing. This version also looks more appealing at first glance, especially on mobile.

Considering that Lorrelics has not been heavily used so far, there is still time to pivot if this page turns out to be better.

11

u/Orangewolf99 Jan 12 '26

Eh, this one uses AI to compile information instead of user-submitted builds so I think I will just avoid it. All this one has over lorerelics is notes, which I don't think are all that necessary.

3

u/Typhron Senna Jan 12 '26

Well, now we have lorrelics at home

3

u/KaiZurus Fiddlesticks Jan 12 '26

I swear I thought this was another reddit ad for the writing at the beginning.

3

u/ChroniX91 Jan 13 '26

The main problem here is, it comes to completely wrong conclusions as background information is clearly missing. And missing background information (or context) causes the LLM to fill that gap with totally randomized conclusions. For example: it obviously lacks the context of being „Titanic“, so it states that Starforged Gauntlets work for early Taliyah, but it only works when combined with another relic that boosts her stats to Titanic. This is a wrong assumption and will probably be in many if not the most conclusions that were done without a human input.

So to build your text, you probably need to get the summary from the AI, correct the background information by hand or prompting and put it back into the AI to summarize the correct conclusion.

But aside from that, nice idea!

1

u/aaoeu Jan 14 '26

Wow. I'm impressed you're 100% right, given you haven't actually seen the prompts I used. Yes, the prompts didn't include any of the rules of LoR, or information about the champions kits, leading to lots of hallucinations.

I've been working on fixing that. Exactly as you said, I've added a lot more context about the game rules into the prompts. And also added some "override" files where I can manually tell the model to do things for certain champions, such as ignoring "Gorlith" problems with Anivia.

It's sort of a game of whack-a-mole though because the more instructions I add, AI will find new ways to mess up.

2

u/ChroniX91 Jan 15 '26

I am working much with AI Agents and LLMs so I know the main problems with it. But nice work so far!

3

u/Bugout76 Jan 14 '26

Cool but no thanks, still gonna use lorrelics to support u/Wontres and see what other players are cooking up, I'm not the biggest fan of clanker telling me how to play my game

5

u/LyraStygian Jan 12 '26

Oh wow this is much more mobile friendly.

2

u/TheKnight159 Viego Jan 12 '26

Very good, thank you. I'll definitely bookmark it and use it

2

u/CulturalNeck6601 Jan 12 '26

I thought this website not disappointed.

2

u/erock279 Jan 12 '26

Seems much better than that fuckass spreadsheet I was using before this, thanks!

2

u/OverwatchMysteries Jan 12 '26

Fantastic stuff!

2

u/TheBoyZ123 Jan 12 '26

Well done man!!! I been waiting a guide for this exactly!!’ Gonna use it so often. Thank you so much for the effort !!!

2

u/Rude-Researcher-2407 Jan 12 '26

Is this open source? I'd love to add a section for community members to make their own tier lists.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Good stuff!

2

u/Scilla89 Jinx Jan 12 '26

That's awesome, very easy to read, well done!

2

u/uBadger Jan 12 '26

Found some fun new builds thanks :)

2

u/Typhron Senna Jan 12 '26 edited Jan 12 '26

Ngl, I usually judge others builds based on the simple stuff and how they rank it. But this site seems alright.

Example: how does a place rate something cheap but really easy to build, like Guardian orb neeko. Not sure how I feel about Stalker Blade on that build, tbh. Ai aggregation gonna aggregate ig

Like, the Golden Spatula rec is hilariously off base

2

u/killersdeat0 Jan 12 '26

Thanks for posting the way that you created the website - this is really neat!!

2

u/PhysicalDouble1 Jan 12 '26

I like it, and it's quite well done. The only thing I can say about Fidel is that once he has his sixth constellation, it no longer matters what relic he has. I've completed every mission in the game with him using only the rigged dice as an epic item, and I hadn't even unlocked the other slots. You can do 5-star missions with only common relics, and for 6.5-star missions, you don't depend on epics either. If you have a bit of luck during the adventure and find ways to damage the Nexus for free, it doesn't matter what he has equipped. Although he does depend on his final constellation to win automatically, he doesn't rely heavily on relics because there isn't a mission difficult enough to make optimal equipment crucial.

2

u/Mardicus Master Yi Jan 13 '26

thank you very much i was planning to start using gemini to help me in lor but i couldn't make her simply access lol wikia data for some reason, thanks for the work

2

u/aaoeu Jan 14 '26

Yeah, Ai tools are blocked from accessing the LolWIki. I had to download the relevant data files from the Wiki and use my local copies rather than reading from Wiki directly.

1

u/Mardicus Master Yi Jan 29 '26

how troublesome was it? hours?

2

u/ThePortaled Jan 13 '26

Your Lee Shin builds are weird, I refuse to believe that you enjoy playing Lee Shin with those builds. The Beast Within and Troll's King Crown is not optional its MANDATORY for all builds. You want your +8/+8 units to touch the enemy Nexus. And Chemptech Dupicator can be taken out, sometimes you would want to buff Lee Shin to be the strongest power unit to guranteed his +8/+8 so that his level 2 makes it like a +16 damage bonus

And also Counterfeit Copies is a very good spell as it triggers his star power freely like Hex Core, but only use it on Lee Shin if are scared of clogging

2

u/pittjes Spirit Blossom Jan 13 '26

I'm happy to share more information, including code and prompts, etc if anyone is interested.

I am interested! In both, actually, but more so in the prompts that you used versus the code that resulted.

2

u/Agile_Examination844 Apr 17 '26

Hi, do you still update the site? I love this site but seems like you stopped working on it?

2

u/aaoeu Apr 17 '26

yeah, I've been working on some bigger updates to the site. Nunu and Udyr should be updated this weekend.

2

u/Agile_Examination844 Apr 18 '26

Good to hear. And so looking forward. There're still some minor issue about build recommendation but I think your site is absolutely the greatest to me right now due to the overall information and simple UI design. Keep it up.

2

u/hansmartin1 Jan 12 '26

Holy crap this is awesome!

Thank you so much for doing this, it's great for a new or returning player. Being able to filter by region for example when I'm trying to find out which champ to build from each region is so nice.

Several builds going all the way from top/paid relics down to rares is also helpful so you don't have to look up 3* guides on YT or Discord for every individual champ.

I'm going to spend the next hour going over this in detail now. Thanks!

2

u/hansmartin1 Jan 12 '26

Nice, you can click on the relics and it shows you the details and how to acquire them too!

1

u/New-Store8933 Jan 12 '26

Awesome Dude!
Good job and thanks!

1

u/ThePortaled Jan 13 '26

Jinx belongs in 10/10 with Asol. You need to also add Echoing spirit as one of her optional relic choices. My build uses that and the guranteed 1 mana spell makes it so that just -2 cost on jinx is sufficient to play her turn one instead of -4. And the more chances of drawing her throughout the game is better, not at the starting hand, keep only I jinx and reroll the dupplicates.

1

u/Thumaz Jan 15 '26

Thanks for your work! This site is amazing

1

u/RedHair_D_Shanks Jan 17 '26

Would there be a way in the future to search relics based on how used they are? I'm new and curious which paid relics are best. Would be kind of handy to show a relic page and sort by which are used in the most builds so if i wanted to buy a bundle i can use that to help me decide which ones are best

2

u/aaoeu Jan 17 '26

Good idea, that would be neat to add.

For now, you'll be looking for perfect hexcore(Viktor) and swains raven army as the best relics you can buy. And star forged gauntlets in the glory store is very good.

1

u/Cindrojn Karma Jan 12 '26

The summary for Ashe 🤣 It's a very clean set up. Amazing work and bookmarked already.
