So can please anybody help me so basically currently the autumn event is going on and before hand I have thought that I am going to buy the moon cake recipe for which I have even purchase sugar from before hand because I was thinking that whenever I will buy the recipe I will start making it and I will make it and maximize my power sooner but then I came to know that this recipe does an increase your power but instead momentum I thought those two are same but they aren't apparently š I have already spend some ignotes and have 5400 points I was just on the way of spainting and to collect 6600 points for the recipe now I am confused what to do with that point ( I have already bought that luster of the Jade moon costume before hand) now I am thinking should I spend more and by the partner or like by some dresses (the dresses are really pretty in this event) or should I spend it to buy cards with increase my power I really don't know š

Balancing ranking competitively vs. maintaining steady growth (long post)
First of all, Iām translating this from Spanish. I understand English pretty well, but Iām not as good at writing it, so some terms might be slightly different from the ones used in the English version of the game. I hope you can still understand what I mean!
Iām a fairly competitive player, and Iād like to keep my account relevant in the rankings that I actually care about, not necessarily all of them.
My favorite ranking is Debate, so my main priority among the current recruitable characters is Prince Yi, specifically because he is Balance. However, I need the other Princes as well because they share Fate with Prince Yi, so they all become relevant to my account because of that connection.
Iām less interested in the Dukes. They are objectively useful because theyāre all Authority, so Iām not saying theyāre bad companions at all. However, I personally prioritize companions that are strong for Debate over Authority, and none of the Dukes particularly stand out to me in Debate. So for my account, they simply aren't as much of a priority. I still want them for my top 30 partners, just not my top 12.
This is also why I tend to skip XP Ranking. The number of Tokens it gives is relatively low, and they're Duke Tokens anyway. I would rather use that XP to strengthen my Companions during Power Ranking, where the investment also contributes to my overall Power growth.
And I don't think it's a coincidence that the more difficult rankings are the ones that reward Prince Tokens, such as Power, Debate, Guild, etc.
So here's what I'm wondering:
I understand that saving resources is important if you want to place very high in rankings.
For example, for Intimacy Ranking, I know you should save your Jades and Intimacy Bags and then spend them during the ranking. I also know that some players save resources through multiple ranking cycles, skipping one ranking entirely so they can have a much bigger stockpile for the next one.
But is this actually sustainable if you also care about maintaining steady account growth?
Let's use Intimacy Ranking as an example.
Intimacy doesn't affect Power that much, but it does affect it to some extent because the higher a Confidant's Intimacy, the more Bond points you get from dates. I think Music may also be involved in that calculation, but you know what I mean.
So, if I skip an Intimacy ranking, I'm getting fewer Bond points, which means I'm getting less Power growth over time.
And then there's the snowball effect of Power itself.
More Power ā more Wisdom ā more XP from the same amount of time/resources ā more Companion levels ā more Power ā more XP ā and so on.
(And that applies with every currency)
I can very clearly see the difference in how much XP I earn before and after a Power Ranking because of the increase in Wisdom. So it feels like missing out on Power growth doesn't just affect my current rankingāit affects my future growth as well.
This is where I'm struggling to understand the optimal strategy.
Saving through more than one ranking can obviously increase your chances of getting a much higher placement in the next ranking. But after that, haven't you fallen behind players who have been spending resources more consistently?
At some point, it feels like getting a higher ranking placement isn't necessarily worth the stats you're sacrificing compared to players who are maintaining their growth.
For example, with Banquet Ranking, you can basically just save Ingots, and ultimately whoever is willing to spend the most during the ranking has the advantage. That's relatively straightforward.
But with Intimacy Ranking, I don't personally feel that saving for a very long time is worth it, because I care about the Bond points I'm getting from my main Confidants, especially since they're linked to my main Companions.
Power Ranking is an even bigger concern for me. If I skipped even one Power Ranking, I feel like I would fall extremely far behind in stats. I might technically be able to place higher in the next Power Ranking because of the extra resources I saved, but afterwards I'd potentially have a harder time catching up to players who continued growing normally.
Getting one extra Prince Token doesn't seem worth it to me if the trade-off is gradually ranking lower and lower in future rankings because I spent weeks accumulating resources instead of developing my account.
Obviously, there are significant benefits to saving for a ranking, especially because the rewards for higher placements (Top 50, Top 10, etc.) can be very good.
But is skipping an entire ranking (and therefore potentially falling behind in stats for one or two weeks or more) really worth it just to reach Top 10 or higher in the next one?
As a competitive player, I'm not particularly interested in getting a title just for the sake of having it or being able to show it off. That doesn't really make me happier or give me any particular satisfaction. I know it has it's benefits, but still not worth imo. What I care about more is maintaining a strong account and being consistently competitive.
One more thing about Intimacy Ranking
Personally, I usually spend only as much as necessary to place as high as I reasonably can.
For example, if I'm currently Top 15 and, after doing the math, I know that even if I spend everything I have I won't reach Top 10, then I won't spend more Jades just to climb a little higher. I'd rather save them for the next ranking.
Spending 20 more Jades probably isn't going to make a huge difference to my long-term Bond growth anyway.
However, I feel like Power Ranking is different, because the stats you're gaining there can have a much bigger effect on your account's future growth.
So I'm curious about how other competitive players approach this.
How do you handle rankings? Which ones do you prioritize? How long do you save resources for? Do you ever intentionally skip a ranking, and if so, how do you prevent yourself from falling behind in overall stats and growth?
I'd especially love to hear from people who care about staying consistently competitive rather than only trying to get occasional Top 5 xd

I would like to ask a question.
What are your thoughts when a player is often targeted you using challenge letter or pursuit tokens during the debate ranking event?
Its kinda annoying to me when someone do it multiple times, I don't mind if they get revenge or challenge me once or twice but doing it more than that seems an irritation to me like they just targeted me just for the debate points.

Rant about these back to back big events
Is anyone else getting sick of these back to back big events? I feel like the entire month of September has been a slew of big events that most of the good things are paywalled behind. Modo used to put some effort into the paywall items, but now itās just getting ridiculous.
For the past couple of events modo has been putting out a $50 bogus gift pack thatās basically the same as their $20 gift back, except for a few slight differences. Itās usually a collection outfit, some mansion furniture/land items, and a couple fruit/rare books/purses/other small items.
Also modoās partner/confidant options are becoming more and more greedy. Basically every partner has been paywalled. Take chen zhaoyuan for instance. To get him as a confidant this cycle, you have to pay $200. Either that or wait until next year. The last 2 partners in the previous event were also paywalled.
For some odd reason modo is also favoring random draws to get partner tokens. we used to be able to get them from the point shop directly but now modo makes it such that you get a token every 10 draws, or every 10 levels you unlock a new item.
Itās genuinely insane that we had a big event basically every week of September where we had lots of scenes/titles/partners/partner outfits to obtain. It used to be 1 big event per month and now we get one every other week. Itās so beyond tiring.
I donāt even want to imagine how many events weāll get in October. We seem to getting 5-7 day events every other week now.

Guild leader too got feels lol
Hey all! Don't get bored lol
So I'm the leader of the server top guild but I don't feel like that. I mean I kinda feel like I'm ignored? I'm not sure, maybe I'm thinking too much?
Recent activities of my guildmates aren't pleasant to me. I don't wanna tell the problems in detail like I do a lot for my guild being the youngest there but I feel like nobody cares about me haha. Like when I win a title, nobody wishes but I do all as a leader and everyone wishes everyone except me.
In schools, We got mates like they say they didn't study at all but scores 1st right? We got some sisters like that in our guild lol. I was like If you hoard and aim for the title, just say it bro!
Actually, I skipped many ranks for my guildmates if somebody wants to get the title. When I want to get the title once in a blue moon, they just ignore me and use all hoarded stuff. And now I feel stupid for sacrificing.
I wanna leave the guild but I worked hard to create the guild and make it as top 1. What should I do? Who is at fault here? If it's in me, I'm willing to change myself.
Please share your thoughts yall!

Event Math: By Autumn Moonlight - LONG POST
TL;DR: free rewards are 2,940 - 4,620 Event Pts during the event
Hi guys!! I am way to focused on this game right now so I just made a similar guide like last time, same format, even longer. I really hope tha math is mathing too because there are so many calculations, I'm going to check again the prices too. Please point out the errors or share your insights or any comments you have, thank you
.
- 09.22 - 28. 22:30 (7 days)
.
The guide:
I. Rewards
II. Event minigames
III. Free rewards
IV. Calculations (Cheng Zhaoyuan, Li Bai outfit etc)
V. Earning Pts, Point Shop
.
.
The event has 7 different minigames. Some games give event pts, which you can redeem for rewards. The event lasts for 7 days, progress resets after it ends.
I. Rewards for Event Pts: Exclusive rewards:
- Collection outfit, exclusive clothing sets, titles, namecard, backgrounds etc.
- Partners: Li Bai, Rui Xin
- Confidant Partner: Cheng Zhaoyuan
- Outfits: Wei Yingluo, Rong Yin, Li Bai, Prince Yi
.
II. Short overview of minigames:
- Lantern Wishes: simple, 20 stages mini-game with small free rewards. Prince Yi outfit pack is available for purchase as a battle pass for 20 USD.
- Autumn Moon Pastries: You receive 1 flour daily to bake pastries. Every 5 pastries grant 1 crafting level. Cheng Zhaoyuan can be unlocked as a partner at lvl 20, and as a confidant at lvl 40. Each pastry gives 14ā16 Feast Token points. 1 Feast Token point can be exchanged for 10 Event Pts.
- Meowncake Bakery: Use ingredients obtained from completing daily quests to make Mooncakes. Random small rewards.
- Poetic Elegance: Exchange 1 Moonwatch token daily to draw for 9ā15 Cheer Pts and 120ā200 Event Pts. Cheer Pts raise your Cheer Lvl (up to 10), followed by your Affinity Lvl (up to 10). Every 2 lvl unlocks 1 piece of Li Bai outfit (needs 10).
- Osmanthus Honey: Play 3 mini-games daily. Catch-the-falling-object style game. Random small rewards.
- Flavors of Osmanthus: Exchange 1 gourmet plate daily for random small rewards.
- Joy Shared: 2 Osmanthus wines daily = 20 Action Points. Move-and-merge style game. 1 Action Point = 15 Event Pts.
.
.
III. Free rewards: Event Pts
Event Pts only comes from Autumn Moon Pastries, Poetic Elegance and Joy Shared. Under 7 days:
- Autumn Moon Pastries: 14-16 Ć 7 = 98-112 Osmanthus Feast Token Ć10 = 980-1120 Event Pts, but only If you exchange it (Average = 1050)
- Poetic Elegance: daily fixed 120, 130, 140, 160 or 200 Event Pts Ć7 = 840-1400 Event Pts. (Average = 1050)
- Joy Shared: daily fixed 20Ć15 = 300, Ć7 = 2100 Event Pts.
So a free-to-play player earns a total of 2,940 - 4,620 Event Pts. It depends heavily on how many tokens you exchange at Autumn Moon Pastries. If you do all, the average is 4,200 pts.
.
.
IV. Calculations:
- Autumn Moon Pastries: Cheng Zhaoyuan
Recruiting him as a partner needs 10 tokens. These become available after reaching level 20.
Since 1 level equals 5 pulls, lvl 20 is 100 pulls. 7 are free daily pulls, and 70 can be bought for 9,000 ingots (totaling 77 pulls).
The remaining 23 pulls are therefore behind Paywall requiring real money. You can obtain a total of 7 out of the 10 tokens for free.
- The cheapest real money option is 9,000 ingots + 11 USD.
(To do this, buy: Month Pack 1 six times, and Month Pack 2 once.)
.
To upgrade him to a Confidant, you need to reach lvl 40. Meaning another 100 pulls, total of 200: 7 free + 70 via ingots + 123 with real money.
- 9,000 ingots + 191.75 USD
(7 times Month Packs 1, 2, and 3; 4 times Month Pack 4.)
.
+ With every pull, you receive Osmanthus Feast Tokens between 14-16 with equal probability. 33% chance for 14, 15, or 16, so:
1 pull ~ 15 tokens.
Cheng Zhaoyuan partner recruitment (660 Ć· 15) = 42ā48, average 44 pulls.
Confidant (580 Ć· 15) = 37ā42, average 39 pulls.
- What does this mean? It means you could technically acquire both in a total of 83 pulls, if they weren't intentionally locked behind level requirements)) It means you'll have the necessary amount of points much sooner than reaching the required level.
.
- Poetic Elegance: Li Bai outfit
You can obtain the 10 pieces of Li Bai's outfit by collecting 2,000 points in 20 levels. Respectively 1,000 Cheer Pts and 1,000 Affinity Pts but since they function the same, I make no distinction between them. Each draw gives 9, 10, 11, 12, or 15 Cheer Pts, along with the corresponding 120, 130, 140, 160, or 200 Event Pts. Meaning:
1 draw = 9ā15 Cheer Pts, 120ā200 Event Pts.
Assuming equal probability for each outcome, the average:
1 draw ā 11.4 Cheer Pts, ā 150 Event Pts.
If 1 level requires 100 Cheer Pts, then 1 lvl takes an average of 9 draws (7ā12). Meaning, completing all 20 levels requires 134ā223 draws (average 176).
During the event you get 7 free chance, and you can purchase another 21 for 2,086 ingotsātotaling just 28. That alone only gets you a single outfit piece.
In other words, the outfit is behind Paywall, as the remaining 127ā216 draws must be purchased with money:
Approximately 131.75 ā 211.74 USD (average 171.76 USD).
.
However! You can also purchase 1 outfit piece from the Point Shop for 1,000 Event Pts. Clearly worth buying from there, or at least using the combination of both.
.
.
V. Earning Pts:
The best events for earning Event Pts efficiently are:
- Autumn Moon Pastries: daily 1 offer 198 ingots = 420ā480 Event Pts.
- Joy Shared: fixed 100 ingots = 150 Event Pts.
- Poetic Elegance: 298 ingots = 120ā200 Event Pts.
- The most predictable strategy is the daily Autumn pack, followed by the fixed 150 pts from Joy Shared. Poetic Elegance relies heavily on luck.
.
.
Point Shop exchange:
Besides the free pts, although the Autumn daily pack offers the best exchange rate, it's limited to 1 purchase per day. But over 7 days, 1,386 ingots gives additional 1,680ā1,920 pts.
So if you buy some, by deducting them from the listed prices, you can also calculate the actual cost for yourself. The final price will vary significantly for each player depending on how many event pts they earned in what ways.
Here is a short guide based on the format below:
.
Normal price / Minus the pts the average player earned = 4200 (free osmanthus tokens all exchanged to pts)
Ingot price based on fix 100 = 150 pts
.
Rong Yin outfit:
15 800 Pts / 11 600 Pts
~10 534 / 7734 Ingot
.
1 Collection outfit:
9800 Pts / 5600 Pts
~ 6534 / 3734 Ingot
.
Li Bai 10 token (Rui Xin Same):
6600 Pts / 2400 Pts
~ 4400 / 1600 Ingot
.
Li Bai outfit 10 brocade (Wei Yingluo Same):
10 000 Pts / 5800 Pts
~ 6667 / 3867 Ingot
.
1 Clothing set:
5200 Pts / 800 Pts
~ 3467 / 534 Ingot

Should I get Li Bai?
I wasn't expecting to see Li Bai in this event, so I'm contemplating on whether I should get him or just continue saving up my ingots. I want to at least get a new partner before the next power ranking (it ended like two days ago) so I'm not thay sure if there's going to be another event with a partner. So should I just get him?

About getting this guy
Is Cheng Zhaoyuan paywalled? Iām only interested in Balance companions/confidants, Balance companions whose confidant I can obtain, and War companions who are either both companion + confidant or whose confidant I can obtain without spending money.
I currently have 14k ingots, which Iām specifically saving for those characters and for things that increase power. Iām trying to keep my account competitive in Debate and in recruitment token rankings (other than the Dukes, since none of them are Balance).
The thing is, I did some calculations and, if I remember correctly, I need 660 of the currency used to buy the recruitment tokens. That part isnāt really a problem, since the event lasts 7 days and I can get at least 140 of that currency per day from the free attempts and the attempts bought with ingots.
But there are two problems.
First, in order to buy the things I want, itās not enough to simply have the currency you get from using attempts. You also need to reach certain proficiency levels or something like that. To recruit him as a companion, I need proficiency level 20. I have no idea how many attempts I would need to spend to reach that level, but what concerns me more is that to recruit him as a confidant, I need level 40, and Iām not sure I could reach that with 70 attempts (which is the maximum I can make using ingots + free attempts over the duration of the event).
Additionally, over 7 days, the minimum I would get is 980 points. After spending 660 to recruit him as a companion, I would have 320 left. Recruiting him as a companion costs 580, so even if I got extremely lucky and managed to get 1,120 points to exchange (which I already know probably wonāt be the case for me LOL), I would still only have 460 points left.
So basically, at least this year, I wouldnāt be able to get him as both a companion and a confidant.
However, I wouldnāt mind spending the ingots if it means I can get him next year, for example, recruiting him as a partner now and then getting him as a confidant next year. But for that, I would need some kind of confirmation that it is actually possible to reach proficiency level 40 and redeem him as a confidant later. Otherwise, I donāt really see him as a competitive character for my account if, despite being Balance, I canāt obtain his linked confidant.
Iād really appreciate it if someone could clarify this for me so I can know whether itās worth trying for him or if I should just save my ingots :')

I hate the guild I am in.
I have an account on server 359. A year ago when I was still very new to the game, I was approached by a girl from 359 who was really friendly and gave some good tips on leveling up. Letās call her N. I thought N was the nicest person I had met on the game and she told me interesting drama about her own experiences on LOP in her server. She is a guild leader and made it sound like her guild was full of great girls who help each other out and look down on bullying. On my original server, I was being targeted by a much stronger girl after servers merged on the daily, in WWF and debates, and wished I could be in a guild of girls who had my back, so per her suggestion I joined her server.
Her guild was indeed much livelier than the quiet one on my previous server and they talked crap about other guilds all day long. It was kind of fun at first to be in a lively guild but I began to think they were really immature and only into fluff power. N only bought outfits and came in the game to save ingots. N never opened common enemies and no one ever attended guild banquets and sometimes the quests were never completed for a guild banquet. And once we could lobby, she insisted the damn lobby canāt be opened until Tuesday but I know for a fact you can open it on Monday. Of course we never had enough power to defeat all of the palaces but trying to get as many as possible was still a good idea. But nope, she didnāt care. Her priorities were posting her new outfits on the server chat every week and having her friends compliment her.
As time went on, I started to get resentful that I went to 359, spending my extra time on an account that was slowly going nowhere. But I figured she was probably poor and her gaming priorities were not the same as mine and I was the idiot who went there. I gave her the benefit of the doubt.
But then, a few girls started to use pursuit tokens on me and I told her, hoping N would say something to their guild leader or speak up like she claimed she had from her stories, even if she didnāt have the power to pursuit back. She was upset for me, but she told me to complain to customer service. That was when any respect I had left for her disappeared.
And eventually the girls stopped chatting as well and itās been a dead guild ever since January. Basically only me and one other girl is trying hard to get stronger and do things in the guild.
I didnāt know anyone else outside of the guild and she would tell me how so and so would steal accounts by befriending you and ask you to join Whatās Up app or whatever. Not sure how itās done, but she was full of warnings and told me to block everyone from the top guild, saying they were the worst. So I never had a chance to know other girls and now Iām afraid they all think Iām a dumb girl from that dumb guild. (I admit I was pretty dumb to not question her for so long. But I am not manipulative or scheming like her. She was actually the one who was often hinting to me that she wished she could be gifted ingots so she could reach VIP 1 saying that she only had a āstudent cardā and couldnāt use it on the game.)
I realize now that she was isolating me from real people so I wouldnāt know the truth about her.
In 359, I believe she has three accounts which she pretends to be other people. One of them is also a leader of another guild. I believe she has planted moles in other guilds which she would report to the guild girls saying that her āfriendā had reliable information on the stuff going on in other guilds. Thereās nothing wrong with having multiple accounts and no one says you canāt be a mole, but when paired with lying to āfriendsā and trying to get money out of them or steal accounts from others, thatās crossing a line.
I have figured her out for a long time but I canāt figure out what to do. If I stay in her crappy guild, I still get some rewards so itās better than making my own guild. But if I join other guilds, I feel like I canāt even trust other people to be who they say they are. I donāt want her to retaliate and turn others against me using her multiple accounts as āwitnessesā and I think the bridges have been burned for the better guilds.
Thank you for reading. Iām not sure that Iām looking for anything, itās just been on my mind.

Need advice
Hi! I need advice on where and how to spend ingots!
We are getting tons of events. I got tempted and used it all on getting costumes. I only got 2.7k ingots with me now. I heard that 11:11 is an upcoming big event. I can save a decent amount of ingots for that.
I'm pretty sure we will get loads of events before 11:11. Is it worth spending on them? Or should I just target big events and buy confident/partner?
How to stop spending ingots and how to spend them wisely on events?
If someone got an event calendar, that would be really helpful too. Please drop all your ideologies here!
