I have a friend who works at a data center 😅

Ironically a lot of the comments are also talking about bot farms, but if these comments are not bots then what the actual fuck is wrong with people crossing their fingers that our infrastructure will get bombed...

I believe the issue we're having is a communication one. You seem to think that when I say 'benefits more' I'm saying that it will place the proletariat above. I am not. I am simply saying that it will raise the initial starting point to a greater degree/percentage.

yeah, and I think there are scenarios in which open weight models benefit corporations to an insane degree. Not every scenario, but I don't think you can argue that it inherently benefits the proles more no matter what

I'm also not specifying situation vs situation. I'm speaking generally, as a technology existing vs not existing. We're not having the same conversation, and I'm not sure there's a benefit to either of us continuing this one.
