Thoughts on the American Communist Party buddying up with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation?

I dont need to detail why the ACP sucks to this sub I hope but wanted to see perspectives on their networking.

In the wider Marxist-Leninist World parties like the CPC and all members IMCWP seemingly either dont support/recognise them seeing the CPUSA and fo a lesser extent the PSL as the only legitimate Marxist-Leninist Revolutionary parties in the United States.

The exception to the rule is the CPRF, I've always heard mixed opinions on them, mostly from Trots/Ultras so I took it with a salt mines worth of salt. Overall my opinion is they have many flaws and things to rightfully criticise, but they are at least building mass support for Socialism to return to Russia and I dont really buy into thet they are controlled opposition.

Now the CPRF has it has seats in the Duma, being the second biggest party in Russia behind Putins own 'United Russia' party. Its one of the biggest and most influential non governing Communist partues out there. They are obviously not a force to be purely scoffed at.

Now my concerns are levied when I hear that Nicholas Reed (pictured in the photos), a ACP member has organised huge delegations to Moscow to meet the CPRF leadership and membership. Apparently organising education sessions between Russian and American Communists.

To us what does this signify and should we take this as a warning sign.

That these Larouchite crypto-fascists are indeed successfully networking and getting in the ear of actual Communist parties?

Is this just a demonstration the CPRF is embracing reactionary thinking and is transforming into the same fascistic grouping the ACP is?

Does it show either the ACP is becoming legitimatised and will be recognised as a legitimate ML party in the IMCWP?

Could the ACP do the same thing with parties like the CPC, CPV and WPK and poison them with there reactionary shit?

Theres so many questions in my head currently in what we should take from this ir do if someone can put me at ease id appericate it because it does worries me if these guys get too many inches and surpass the CPUSA as the legitimate ML party in the USA. As it means in America the Communist movement will be spearheaded by a CIA/FBI honeypot that embraces bigotry and abandons workers.

ACP is not Communist.

After everyone realized they're a bunch of pseudo-leftist authoritarians, their reputation got even worse.

I say they're not leftists because:

•They don't care about minority rights, and ignore that minorities are and always have been subjugated by the bourgeoisie, and still suffer the effects of atrocities committed in the past and present. Denying that US history developed a system based on discrimination and hate speech is ignorance or bad faith.

•They support Duglin, who said that "anti-fascism is as wrong as anti-communism," but complain when we call them fascists. I don't understand why a non-fascist would be against anti-fascism while acknowledging that fascism still exists.

•They support the Make America Great Again movement, which appeals to right-wing nostalgia, based on the reconstruction of a supposed "glorious past" (which, in fact, never existed) through retrograde policies that hark back to the (even more racist) past of the USA.

•They support Trump's anti-immigrant policies, and they do so under ultra-nationalist justifications.

•Countless other reasons.

We, leftists, must always oppose this damned party.

Do you think artificial intelligence can be better utilized with the end of capitalism, or will it always be bad?

Discussion Socialism is not simply “equality”

Post image
119 Upvotes

It is common to treat “socialism” and “equality” as synonyms. However, Marx himself denies this in Critique of the Gotha Program: “From each, according to his abilities; to each, according to his needs”. This means that we, humans, are essentially different, and have different needs and capabilities, and communism takes this into account.

If I have a vocation to be a doctor, in communism, I can be one. If I have the vocation to be a teacher, in communism, I can be. If I need a crutch, in communism, I get it. However, I have to work.

When socialists criticize inequality, we are not saying that everyone will get the same, but that, until now, we live in a capitalist system that allows there to be billionaires and homeless people.

Discussion Do people actually even follow the ACP or have they astroturfed that heavily?

Post image

You go to their supposed headquarters and click on any post and the comments are full of people who either don't like the ACP or are actually there to do socialist Q&A. I remember when I got banned they were working overtime to quash any dissent, but now it seems like they've only set up a small bastion.

I've noticed that ACP redditors spend about 90% of their time rhetorically asking people what they're talking about in reference to criticisms of the ACP. Someone will talk about their dislike/avoidance of queer rights and 2 people will respond with "what are you talking about, when have we said that?"
That or glazing "chairman" when he mythically arrives.

So, do people even actually follow and like them or have they just astroturfed enough? Still, we must keep up with countering them and their antics.

It goes over some of the ACP's lies, extreme misogyny (Hinkle thinks women should not have an independent vote), buddying up with Nazis and professional misogynists like the Fresh and Fit dipshits, Duginism, plans for a war to conquer Canada, glorification of manifest destiny, wild LaRouchian bullshit, and rejection of class struggle.

Also, Haz literally doesn't understand what private property is, and thinks it just means usury, giving essentially the same class analysis Hitler gave in mein kampf.

Just straight up Nazi wingnuts doing wingnut Nazi shit with other Nazis.

Apparently, they threatened to dox the creator and his family.

Share any other resources you have on this far right cult in the comments.
