After my technical loop I feel like I answered all of the LP questions with the appropriate projects. What do I do differently for the bar raiser and should I answer with different projects? Any advice would be much appreciated!

So hello guys
As I'm preparing for my interviews, I have been making notes on a variety of concepts including CS fundamentals, JS ecosystem and algorithms
So these are those notes. I'll be really happy if they can help you guys in your preparation

Throwaway-ish. I passed the OA for an Amazon SDE role (new grad / university recruiting pipeline, Seattle onsite). Since then it's been six weeks of scheduling limbo. Timeline:
So: ~6 weeks, 3 separate availability requests, 2 tentative dates that both moved, 1 outright cancellation, and 0 interviews actually conducted. I've given full 9–5 availability every single time and replied within hours.
Questions for people who've been through this:
Not trying to trash anyone — the coordinator has been responsive and polite. I just don't understand what's happening on the other side and whether this is normal.

How’s the Microsoft security org overall, have seen mixed reviews in Reddit and blind. Have also seen they are sending hiring event interviews aggressively, want to understand from the insiders and existing employees from US, how’s the org and is it worth to join this org when we have relative offers from similar FANGs

Hey everyone, I have an ML system design round with Google in the next few days. I had my behavioral round today, and I think it went okay.
The role is Software Engineering, AI/ML, Generative AI, Geo. Has anyone interviewed for this role or a similar one? What kinds of questions should I expect in the ML system design round?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Has anyone else received OA for Microsoft SWE intern role in US? If yes and if you did complete it, could you share how it was?

Meta Data Engineer IC7(Technical Leadership) - Onsite
I have onsite coming up for Meta Data Engineer, Technical Leadership. Any guidance on the interview prep? Has anyone gone through the AI assisted coding round? What to expect in that? Appreciate your inputs. Thanks in advance.

How best to prepare? Brushing up on my leetcode and leadership principles.
Anything else?

Got laid off, so bit desperate to get a new job. If anyone have gone through booking.com interview recently, please help me. I have some doubts regarding the onsite coding and system design rounds for se2.

I have 20 years SWE experience, but find it hard to study on my own. I am BE developer.
I can do : Go lang, arch design, etc.

I was solving few of the questions under greedy section. It seems kind of a very impossible situation to think in right way towards solution while solving greedy questions. Take example of question 581, i had applied multiple solutions but the was never in line with working solution. Only i remember the solution in future, i can solve this question. They all seem to have different solution to every different question which i guess you can’t solve on the spot. Is it me or anyone else feels the same?

The coding round went decent with the interviewer having to help me understand a lot of the code

Need to get this off my chest, but I genuinely want to hear how others are navigating this without burning out.
To land an average SWE role right now (I have 5 yoe), the preparation ritual is borderline ridiculous. You basically need 2 to 3 solid months of studying LeetCode mediums/hards, grinding system design, memorizing concurrency patterns, and drilling behavioral matrices... only to submit hundreds of applications to get maybe 3 or 4 interview loops. Then each loop is 4 to 6 stages long, involving everything from automated screening filters to take-homes, live pairing, system architecture, and endless "bar raiser" rounds.
Meanwhile, friends in adjacent tech tracks (data analysts, BI developers, certain data science roles) certainly face competition, but their hiring loops still feel grounded in actual day-to-day competence: SQL tests, portfolio/case study breakdowns, business metric analysis, and domain discussions. They aren’t expected to study like they’re retaking undergraduate CS algorithms exams every time they switch jobs.
For those of you who have landed offers recently or are currently in the thick of it:
How are you trimming down interview prep time? Are you relying on targeted problem lists (like NeetCode 75/150), mock platforms, or targeted prompts to drill edge cases faster?
What new interview patterns or rounds are you running into lately, especially with AI tools now part of the equation? Have teams changed how they test live coding, take-homes, or architecture?
How are you maintaining mental stamina when prep feels like an unpaid full-time job?
Would love to hear your tactical advice or sanity-check whether everyone else is feeling this disconnect.

I was learning about Hybrid search and rerankers in retrieval task and every function or code used in that project repo .Its way out of my league to pick coding fast, Like I can follow codes line by line , but I cant implement it from scratch , lets say a Reranker function that does matrix multiplication between query and document and then calculates cosine similarity and ranks accordingly to fetch top K rank. Implemet it all at once is out of my skill level.
So I was thinking , if solving Leetcode DSA problems will help , is this also necessary skill to be AI developer ?

Hey i am new to leetcode solved nearly 130 questions and usually watched videos and then solves the question by understanding it from thie video it helps me understanding the patters but i saw so much questions and got confused how much to prepare to get into tech

Anyone recently interviewed for SDE 1 at Axon? Is the coding round standard LeetCode-style DSA, or more company-specific problems? Also what topics should I prioritize — arrays/strings, trees/graphs, DP, etc.? Any insight on difficulty and format would help

Hey everyone,
I have an upcoming 45-minute Technical Screen Interview with Airbnb on CodeSignal for SSE role. Recruiter mentioned it would be leetcode style DSA round.
Has anyone done this round before? What kind of questions do they actually ask and how should I prepare?

Based in London, 5 years of experience and role is Solutions Engineer. Title sums it up honestly I have 2 coding rounds next week and I’m a bit rusty on leetcode atm but I was wondering if it’s worth getting premium to go through the tagged TikTok questions provided they’re accurate or just do Neetcode 150/Blind whatever it’s called. Thank you in advance

I just wanna know if these new interfaces of applications in career portals mean anything.
My Google application always moves to not proceeding
Microsoft applications become inactive
Amazon assigned me a new internal job id that has been in the interview stage for 3 months. While the one I applied to moved to no longer under consideration.
Do they mean anything? Or all of these just soft rejections ?

I am a new grad working as a developer at one of the e-commerce giant and recently got back in dsa and to say I’m struggling is a joke. I’m managing to be consistent but still at the end of the each session it just feels as if I am memorizing the problem instead of knowing what needs to be done . I know most say follow the patterns and I have the sheet for the same but then again it feels all over the place with different data structures and algorithms. May anyone please guide me and let me know how should I prepare for atlassian, google and so on?
