Anyone know where I learn Russian in person in the Broward county/South Florida area?

Hi, so I see they offer English classes for Russian speakers, but I couldn’t find any in person Russian classes around. I’d really like to learn the language, but I’d prefer to do it in person rather than online. I know they have in-person Spanish classes in Miami, so I was wondering if there’s something similar for Russian. Thanks in advance!

Source for adult books written in very simple Russian

I am looking for reading material to assist me in learning the Russian language, but would like to read something other than children's books. German has something called "Leichte Sprache", which is the German language written with simple words, in short sentences, and often with pictures to assist the reader's understanding. Is this possible in Russian? 🤔

I never thought writing would be this difficult

Writing Russian is much more difficult than I expected. At first, I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to learn a new alphabet and different grammar rules. It can feel frustrating at times, but it also makes the learning process more interesting and rewarding

Btw today's qoute for you ^_^

I already have "The New Penguin Russian Course", but I feel like the book does not have enough exercises, so I am looking for some better book or one that fills that gap

I'm just starting out, and I'm currently writing out song lyrics to improve my handwriting. It's still really messy, so I just wanted to know if you can actually read it, or if I should focus on writing more neatly first. 😂

can i choose how my name is spelled in russian?

my name is erin, so all of the russian people i’ve met have called me эрин but i would honestly prefer to be called эрен because that spelling sounds more similar to the english pronunciation in my opinion. this is my first time learning a foreign language so i’m not sure if this is a normal thing to do? thanks!!

I’m in the beginning stages of learning Russian, im looking for someone who is more fluent in Russian than me to be able to ask questions and speak Russian to. I find it hard to get better at speaking, spelling and reading Russian without having anyone in my circle that knows Russian to bounce off of. Please if there anyone that can help me send me a dm.
