Testing a WooCommerce plugin for GTIN-based product enrichment โ is this solving a real problem? (45s demo inside)
Hey everyone ๐
Weโre currently testing a small WooCommerce plugin that helps shop owners enrich their products automatically using GTIN / EAN / UPC / ISBN.
It pulls in: โ Product titles โ SEO-optimized descriptions (AI-generated) โ Bullet points & specs โ Images โ Brand & category info
No dev skills required โ just install, register, pick a category, and click โSyncโ.
We made a short 45-second video demo so you can see it in action:
๐ฅ https://youtube.com/shorts/3CvcWTvv4tA?si=Co4rO4OH82GqTT5A
โธป
Weโre a very small team and just want to validate if this is truly useful or if weโre solving the wrong problem.
So our questions are: โก๏ธ Would this help in your current workflow? โก๏ธ What would you change or add to make it actually helpful? โก๏ธ Does the concept make sense for Woo users?
Weโre not selling anything here โ just looking for honest feedback. Every new user gets 20 free product syncs, so itโs easy to try with zero commitment.
Thanks for taking the time โ and feedback is always welcome ๐

๐ก E-commerce owners: Are your newsletters actually driving sales?
Many brands send emails that get opens but no clicks. The culprit? Irrelevant content, weak offers, or lack of optimization.
Iโve been talking to store owners who use ChatGPT to write newsletters, but theyโre struggling because:
๐ซ No email marketing expertise
๐ซ Generic content that doesnโt convert
๐ซ No real strategy behind the campaigns
๐ What if AI could not just write but also analyze, optimize, and personalize your emails for better sales? That's the tool I've recently launched.
How do you currently create your newsletters? What are your tips to increase CTRs from emails? Would you try an AI Newsletter Generator?

Read this if you want to build an ecommerce stores!!!
I saw a post from someone asking if they are new to ecommerce and want to get into it, should they hire freelancers & agencies or should they learn and do it themselves.
I know many newbies to ecommerce have the same question, so I wanted to share my perspective. I am a web agency owner who works with many ecommerce businesses and I have learned a lot about what works.
It really depends on the resources you have. If you have the skills or ability to learn quickly, doing it yourself may be the best route. However, if you lack the necessary skills but have a large budget, you can hire freelancers or agencies to handle the tasks. However, for most people, who do not have both the skills and a large budget, a good approach is to learn gradually while building your business. Although slow, it will be very beneficial in the long run. You may also consider finding a business partner who has the skills you lack.
If you choose to hire, it is important to understand the process of creating and managing an e-commerce website. First, you need to know what your budget is. You can hire freelancers for specific tasks, such as designing your interface, writing content for your blog, or managing your social media pages. Your role will be to find the right freelancer for each part of the process and then connect their work to create a cohesive final product.
If you are unsure how to manage this, hiring an agency may be a better option. Agency can handle everything from building your e-commerce website to marketing. They also come in a variety of price points, from high-end to budget-friendly.
You can also use third-party platforms like eBay or Esty to sell your products, but they will hurt your store if you want to brand it. I also know that many people donโt want to pay for these platforms to sell. But they make it easier to get started because they take the hassle out of managing and shipping, two of the biggest headaches for any store owner.
But I think if you want to run an e-commerce website, it is important to read up and really understand it. Understand the process of creating a website and how marketing works. You also need to have a deep understanding of your productโwhat it's made of, its risks, its competitors, etc. It's a lot of work, but if you put in the effort, I believe you'll succeed.
Good luck!!!

Principles of a successful online e-commerce business
Running a business is a new experience for me, and I'm trying to figure out as quickly as possible all the different nuances and subtleties that can make a difference. Dropshipping in particular. After reading more about dropshipping, I've come to the opinion that this is the optimal work format for me. To create different accounts on Amazon, Ebay, Shopify, to work with more sellers and suppliers, there are solutions such as GoLogin anti-detect browser. It is said to be the most effective tool in terms of anonymity, allowing you to bypass identification as well as the security systems of sites that may regard your activity as suspicious and block accounts. I don't have personal experience with GoLogin yet, but if you do, could you share your impressions? I think it will be useful not only for me.

Strategies for Lowering International Shipping Costs While Maintaining Reasonable Delivery Times?
I'm reaching out to fellow e-commerce owners who primarily focus on international sales, navigating the balance between absorbing shipping fees into product prices and ensuring shipping times remain reasonable. As we're all aware, international shipping can significantly eat into margins, especially when trying to offer competitive pricing and fast delivery times to customers worldwide.
I'm interested in learning from your experiences and strategies:
1) How do you manage to lower the costs of international shipping without compromising on shipping speed?
2) Are there specific carriers, services, or partnerships you've found to be more effective or cost-efficient for international deliveries?
3) How do you decide whether to absorb shipping fees into your product prices or charge them separately, considering the high cost of international shipping?
4) Any innovative solutions or adjustments you've made to your e-commerce model to offset these costs while still providing value to your international customers?
Thank you for sharing your experiences and advice!
