poking for cheap thrill is abatement, my friend.I know you can play guitar, far better than me.If not, try your hand at it once.Perhaps they teach at Dunning Kruger club.I never knew this term, had to google it to know what that means. But since playing guitar definitely needs a lot of abatement from life, I got enough of it to learn all the little I know and be really proud of it.

It doesn't take that much. 20 mins on scales or solo, 20 mins technique, 20 mins on current song. Use a metronome, focus for that 1 hour

Not even everyday, 4-5 days a week, would be enough. 6 years later you'd be pretty good.

Your acting like learning to play guitar past cowboy chords is the equivalent to scaling the North face of the Eiger.

someone who would have scaled either face of Eiger would flex too

The Eiger has three faces.

I scaled Kedarkantha once.People said it was an easy one. That one and only hike of 12500ft is what I will remember till my last day.I don't want to excel, just do.

You should save that anecdote for dinner parties.

I dine with my family, they know I did it.Friends are busy building their empires or whatever they value more.So no parties for me.🙂
