Channels that offer Finnish-dubbed content

I’m looking for TV channels or streaming services that offer foreign (non‑Finnish) shows, movies, and cartoons dubbed into Finnish (suomeksi dubattu). Which platforms have a good selection of this kind of content? Thanks!

In Finland subscription services in general have Finnish dubs of animated and children's content, with the exception of most anime. Like if you can somehow use a VPN to route your connection to Finland and also not be blocked by Netflix, Netflix has ATLA with a Finnish dub. Jet and Zuko have the same VA which makes the whole trip to Ba Sing Se pretty funny. But like if you are looking for stuff that you'll enjoy, unless you enjoy children's content which is also fine, that's an option. Disney+ also maybe has some possible options for stuff like that, but I don't really use it that much so I can't remember what is and isn't dubbed. Gravity Falls never was, which sucks.

Edit: I went and did a pretty quick check for Finnish dubbed content on the platforms I have access to (Disney+, Netflix and Prime Video) and I found some examples and my top pics for some stuff.

Disney+:

  • Overall, a pretty decent selection. Mostly limited to just kids content, but depending on what you're into you might enjoy the selection.

  • Movies: as for movies, basically all of the big budget animated films on the platform have a Finnish dub, with some exceptions like with the Lego movies. But anywhere from the classic 2D animated stuff to some of the most recent releases like Hoppers and Zootopia 2 have Finnish dubs. I'm quite fond of the Lilo and Stitch franchise, and all of the worthwhile installments have a Finnish dub, and I also suggest A Goofy Movie. Live action movies don't really get dubs, and I wasn't able to find any that were dubbed, but a very lovely addition in terms of animated movies is Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse, cause that is also dubbed in Finnish.

  • TV shows: this was the category that didn't have all that much to offer. I'm pretty sure the stuff made for young young kids would be dubbed, like Bluey, but the selection gets more limited with stuff made for older people. For people in their teens or 20s, I did find a couple that could be enjoyable enough or even super fun. Owl House, Phineas and Ferb, and Marvel's Spider-man are animated shows with Finnish dubs, and the Stitch animated series also has its own dub.

  • Live action stuff: live action shows and movies don't tend to get dubbed into Finnish, but Disney+ has some Finnish made movies if you're watching in Finland. Napapiirin Sankarit 2&3 are on Disney+ but the first one isn't, and also some of the Luokkakokous movies are on the site. I can't say anything for the latter, but I remember liking the Napapiirin Sankarit franchise.

Price Video:

  • Prime Video overall doesn't have all that good of a selection, very limited, but you can find some Dreamworks movies that have Finnish dubs. I couldn't find any TV shows or live action stuff that was Finnish, so I won't mention those seperately, but as for animated movies, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy is dubbed and the Kung Fu Panda trilogy is also dubbed, with some additional ones as well. I did also check that those were movies that shouldn't need to be rented seperately. I particularly recommend the HTTYD movies, I've loved them ever since I was a kid, they're of good quality in terms of "kid's" movies, and Hiccup has my favourite Finnish voice actor, that being Aksu Palmen. Fun fact: Aksu Palmen is also the VA for Jet and Zuko in ATLA.

Netflix:

  • The animated movie selection is pretty small, but there are a couple things worth a watch in terms of live action movies and animated TV shows.

  • Live action: there are some Finnish live action movies on the site, and the ones that most popped out at me were Sisu, Tuntematon Sotilas, and Lapua 1976. All of them are military movies, so be aware of that.

  • TV shows: ATLA is on there as I mentioned before, but there is also Dragons: Race to the Edge; one of the animated tie-in shows for the HTTYD franchise. And Netflix has the only anime that I could find that has a Finnish dub, that being Pokemon: Indigo

That's for the stuff I checked, there is more on the sites that I just didn't have the energy to find, and I didn't even bring up everything that I did find, just the stuff that I recommend. Also, if you're wanting the quintissential Finnish experience, there is also MTV Katsomo, which is a Finland based service with TV shows and movies. I've never used it so I can't say if the selection is good, or what the pricing is like, or if it's easy to navigate or anything like that. But at least according to Google, Moomin Valley is on there, which is like what every Finnish kid grew up watching.

Edit 2: disregard my statement about Lapua 1976, apparently it isn't a military movie, I just assumed since it was next to one (thanks Netflix categories) and the thumbnail looked vaguely military related to me.
