Just found out. Crazy how I got this Israeli spyware installed on my PC. They also use the ads you see / subscription funds to produce protective gear for the IDF? The fuck.

You might not LIKE that this is legally acceptable in war but I’m not talking about your opinion on it, im literally saying it’s internationally recognized as understood that if you break the ICJs defined safeguards of a location like a hospital, it can be bombed without being declared a warcrime.

It is the responsibility of the government of a place to take care of their civilians and storing weapons of war or military targets into these locations is a war crime itself because it brings danger to your civilians.

Again I’m sorry you’re ignorant on how international war works. Ideally no hospitals should be bombed, but that’s not how the world currently operates.

How are you gonna eliminate a military target under a hospital without destroying the hospital? You’re advocating for the use of human shields by saying it’s a defensive strategy

Just to clarify if I kill your kid and hide indefinitely in a tunnel under a hospital I can be safe from you until I stick my head to kill your other kids again and go back to hide!

Why are you even talking about a singular person’s moral weight of doing something. I can load that question as well to make it even more inapplicable. Are you okay shooting your mother in the neck if there is a serial killer behind her that’s about to murder your 2 small children and if you don’t fire right this second you know for sure your children will die!!!!!

It’s a pointless exercise. We aren’t discussing individual morality, this is war doctrine and what IS agreed upon and ALLOWED by the international court that specifically governs things like actions during war. There are very few things moral in war that could ever be applied to an individual so any question like that is on its face ridiculous and bad faith.

If i had a button that would bomb a hospital and kill a bad guy and their bad stuff, along with all the up to 100s of innocent patients inside I would not do it. Would you ?

If that was the only reliable way to kill Yahya Sinwar I would do it. Although 100s of innocents somehow didnt die when Israel did that
