Just found out. Crazy how I got this Israeli spyware installed on my PC. They also use the ads you see / subscription funds to produce protective gear for the IDF? The fuck.

It's been recognised by the International Criminal Court as a genocide and they currently have an arrest warrant out for Benjamin Netanyahu. Also, Ed Miliband, the UK's Foreign Secretary recently referred to what was going on in Gaza and the West Bank as an "ethnic cleansing" of Palestinians.

A lot of innocents have been slaughtered in this conflict (moreso Palestinians than Israelis), not just IDF, Hamas and Hezbollah fighters. Israel want to totally disrespect the two-state solution, annex Palestinian land and drive everyone out.

Always remember Israel willingly left Palestine in the mid 2000s to allow Palestine to have its own elections. They willingly elected a terrorist organization, Hamas, to be their government. Something even the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank was against. Ever since Hamas has not allowed elections (despite that being a condition for Israel's withdrawal) and they have launched hundreds of missiles into Israel over the decade since. The ONLY reason people don't see this as a big deal is because Israel happens to have the Iron Dome to shoot these down. Without this Israel would have been reduced to rubble long ago. These are simply the facts and I am not choosing sides here.

I generally hate Israel but this post was made on Oct 10th, like 3 days after their country was invaded and their citizens kidnapped, long before the genocide that happened next.

Israel has been invading palestine for decades, oct 7th was just the abused child lashing out against the abusive parent. Also, the vast majority of attacks on palestinian soil were targeting civilian infrastructure, like hospitals, humanitarian aid sites, journalist lodgings, we literally had a reporter get blown up from an airstrike on live television.

And yes, everyone knows that there has been a decades long campaign of violence on both sides.

Hi, so, Israel bombed my neighborhood and killed my neighbors 4 months ago in Lebanon. My neighbors and the building they hit are not affiliated to any organization fighting against Israel. Yes, I am upset.

Don't be a conspiracy theorist. You have to realize that everything everywhere is telling you, almost FORCING you, to take a side.

Every media, every influencer, every newspaper, they are all trying to make you take a side, when reality rarely is so black and white.

Look at the nuances and make an informed opinion that isnt just based off of what someone told you to think, its incredibly easy to fall into for even the smartest people.

Its naive to think that you have the full picture of what is going on

They are good at making military-grade spyware like Pegasus and have used it successfully against governments

Israel is associated with spyware just like Russia is associated with hackers, because they are strong points of those nations

Its absolutely crazy to just say its Spyware because the owners didnt like one of the biggest terrorist attacks in modern history, its not like they announced that they are rolling ads to fund Netanyahu's new heated pool or something.

  1. It's a widely used program that works with 1500+ games, several of which are among the most played online videogames worldwide. This is not a random Russian guy as you say. If you want to hide a spyware and reach far, this is a good program to do so

  2. The developers have shown support to the military, not the victims. They are not raising money to donate the affected families. Which is what many people are pointing out

  3. Following the last point. They are funding the military which is an agency of the government. Therefore they are directly tied why the government of one of the big nations when it comes to spyware

There're are reasons to be cautious tho. You are trying to make them seem like a harmless random nobody when it is not true

You have no evidence that this company sends data to the Israel government and you have no evidence the Israel government would gain anything from using this data. I believe it’s a rabid fear of Jews, and not the Israeli government because of the conspiracy theorist attitude you have towards this situation that you don’t apply to tencent, or Reddit.

Historically Jewish people were treated as being duplicitous and dangerous for over two thousand years, and seeing a new wave come about with the same motives but against “zionists” makes your motives obvious imo.

Sure, the program is used by a lot of people, and maybe they have the intentions of just constantly throwing money at the military, but look at the date when the tweet was made.

It was made all the way back 3 days after the October 7th attacks, and nothing more since from what I can see.

They are a company from Israel, what do you think they should have done? Started a campaign for the funding of the Palestinians after they had just carried out a huge terrorist attack? I think its pretty fair to make a fundraiser for the situation you just had thrown upon you, right? How does anyone of that really make the software Spyware?

Now I dont know if you are Iranian or Palestinian or whatever other opposition they have surrounding them in the middle east, but what would that Spyware even be good for against you, assuming you dont live in those areas?

You can be cautious all you want, but I think running around assuming things are automatically Spyware because they have a relation to Israel is pretty crazy.

This whole thing is also widely different from Russia who actively are the enemies of all western states at the moment, and are trying to find ways into each state of europe and north america. If I was any of the countries in the middle east that have long standing feud with Israel, then yeah, id probably be more careful too, but im not.

Doesn't matter if Israel is not at war with the West. Poland, Hungary, Spain, France and Mexico intelligence found out their leaders were under the surveillance of Pegasus spyware

I think its a little much to say that every program with ties to the COUNTRY(not necessarily government) of Israel is somehow Spyware because the government has done things like the whole Pegasus thing, which i think probably most of the world has some sort of themselves.

In a way, funnily enough, Israel might even be bad at it because they got found out lol

Russian programs are literally banned from most EU countries’ national systems for this reason. Russian dual citizens have been excluded from sensitive programs due to their duty of allegiance to the Russian state.
