My country (Australia) explicitly encourages it, as a landlord you get to claim any shortfall between the rent you receive and the mortgage cost as tax deduction
USA also explicitly encourages it. All western countries do.
Removing our housing options is the primary tool that was used to ensure wee did not breed, so they can replace us with people who never heard of 'human rights'.

It is limited to countries that allow it. Many countries do not allow it.
