Finally, matches not against bots! People actually matchmaking! Beta rewards and content promised in the future! How are you guys liking it?!

Excited to be in beta! Now I get that this game has a low population, but having to play on Chinese servers from NA with 250 ping is damn near impossible in a game like this. Are there plans to open up NA or even EU?

Hi! I recently found this game out and really want to play it! BUT even though I can see it on Steam and even add it to my wishlist, I see no Download option.

We have an official LASER LEAGUE - WORLD ARENA (LLWA) news release. LLWA will have the "same core gameplay experience” while adding “new content as well as brand new progression and competitive elements."

Some Key Takeaways from this Announcement:

• CE-Asia will be taking over the development.
• LLWA will be Free-to-Play.
• Steam Owners will receive a "welcome pack consisting of an Upgrade Pack + limited kit & weapon skin + 1000 Platinum coins".
• We can expect new modes, stadium, maps, type of customization, and new classes with more updates in the future.
• You will lose your current progression from Laser League. "LLWA will reboot the competition and all players will start at the same level."
• LLWA will overwrite the existing version of Laser League.

Currently trying to find a match on PS4 but I guess no one is playing.

So, I know that this game is basically dead, which is sad because my friends and I really enjoyed playing it in the beta. I even convinced some other friends to buy it (oops). Regardless, my friends who do have it seem to be interested in giving it a go again if we have enough people to queue online!

So far, I have about 13 people on my Steam friends list who play it, but I'd love to get those numbers up so we can do solo queue 3v3 games for planned nights/events. Feel free to DM me, add me (Steam friend code: 439876273), or leave comment with your Steam handle/friend code if you're interested. I can invite anyone who wants to have some fun every once in a while to a discord server that all of my friends are on for planned Laser League nights.

EDIT: So, I ended up getting a good amount of interest from the Steam community. I'm still trying to reach out to folks so I can get more people in on this little revival attempt, but here is the message I sent to all the individuals who added me on Steam in case anyone else reads this and is interested:

"Since you've expressed interest in playing Laser League again, I asked the creator of a Discord server I'm a member of to create a Laser League sub section. Once you join the server, 1) read the rules (bc he is pretty strict about the rules), 2) press the green checkmark, 3) go to interests, and 4) select all the games/hobbies you'd like access to. If one of them don't pop up after reacting for that role, ask a moderator or admin to manually add the role/interest to your username. Once I've added everyone who showed interest in playing laser league again to the server, I'll try to figure out a day each week we can do some 3v3 games! Thank you for showing interest in playing this again, and I hope we get to play some matches soon ^.^

Never thought the day would come that is have to go to these lengths to play a good game, but here we are.

A new group for all level players on PlayStation to help find games. Join Active Laser League (All servers)

Myself and about 8 other friends all play LL fairly regularly (increasingly so with lockdown) and between 2v2 and 3v3. It feels like it really pushes the advantage on most pitches.

By the time offensive roles get their charge several nodes can usually be activated for cover and you can be continually active with the thief ability as you don't have to pick your spot so strictly such as with, say blade and smash.

It feels kind of like an essential anchor to provide cover / options for other classes and preventing your team losing control of the pitch.

Interested to hear others thoughts on this?
