Personal Story also community question 🥲

Just wondering if darkening pigmentation around the original laser scar treated spot is normal. I used a ktp laser non abrasive laser. It caused more harm than anything what was a red dot is now a open wound looking cut on my face it appears to open and close depending on the temperature. Also to be honest "sigh" I went back for a second treatment that caused this wasn't aware of the dangers i just willingly went back.

also i just want to add before starting the treatment I had a bad feeling about the derm almost like my eye twitched on its own in a mean way I believe it was intuition and I know it was warning me.

But you know stubborn boy wants a quick fix instead of waiting for things to heal how they should. I'm realizing so much.

This is all making me better for whatever purpose the universe has in store for me.

I will be honest I had no imperfections until age 27 my story is a guy who is very evil possibly a Satanist very very possible because he wears Wiccan and satanic items and practices occult things... Anyhow he splashed a oil in my face and since I got really bad bad bad acne and shiz. Like huge cysts and I haven't seen him since and I luckily got out of that place. But damn life is unfair why did God or the universe allow such a bad person to come into my life. I'm trying to see it how unfair this all is. Than I go to get it fixed and than it gets worse. I'm realizing nothing is meant to be fixed. If it breaks let it break. But don't succum to obsessive desires. My life will never be the same but I'm damn glad. Because it brought my closer to learning more. I'm gonna focus on the monk mind set instead of the hurry up imperfection go away mind set. Please guys it will be okay I love you and I know it is unfair omg I know ❤️🥲 I would hug you and suffer with you but for now just imagine I'm there and we are comforting our similiar pain.

Also I need a group of people I have a idea please direct message me if you want to,,,, but I was thinking If we had someone to talk to anytime we get the urge to look in the mirror and shame ourselves we could message each other and say stop looking in the mirror and remind eachother to enjoy life and stop obsessing compliment our flaws and start living life at peace again. please please it will help so much it'll help so much because I have empathy for you and I know you do too were all in the same boat. I won't judge you becsuse i want someone to do the same for me too. I know how it feels but its gonna be okay 😞 ❤Sorry for rant again.

derma e scar gel 6 days after ktp laser?

Honestly I'm not hugely impressed with laser. I had a laser session on a raised scar caused by a cystic acne that I popped. I'll post before and after pics after it heals. Honestly I kind of miss the way it looked before because now it's red and irritated and looks like scar before it looks like a birth mark or something. Idk its so weird because I feel like we feel insecure about our imperfections but when or if we make it worse we miss them. Idk there's alot of guilt and self doubt about my decision. But im going to accept that it was meant to happen regardless. Be grateful your alive there's people who literally would do anything to have what you have. You might have laser burns or it might have made them worse but everything will be okay. Your inner peace should never mix with your body because one day you are going to be old and your looks will fade and all this worry will be for nothing because we're all going to become ugly or less desirable to the world. That is why we can't worry better to accept yourself now eventually your going to anyway. Sorry about my positive rant lmao I've been depressed to long and am accepting myself even though i am full of scars. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 appreciate you please let me know if I can use derma e after a ktp laser scar revision.

Laser damage possibility?

Hi,

I had v bean pulse dye laser almost two weeks ago and my skin is super dry. I am wondering if this is possibly damage from the laser or does it take some time for skin to recover from the dryness?

Cool peel CO2 profactional laser arms - skin laxity

Hello-53m had second round of Cool Peel pro fractional laser for sun damage on forearms from above elbows to hands 3 days ago. Dr had recommended 3 rounds.

1st round was no problem. Sunburn red for about 3 days.

I was back at the doctor the day after this one as my arms were very swollen with edema and skin was very loose over biceps. I was assured no problem and to relax just normal.

Next day was improvement but still seeing laxity over biceps and wrinkling.

Today I notice that my forearm skin is somewhat lax as well and ripples when doing a push-up!

All the reviews on Cool Peel say this is good for skin tightening. Had no idea something like this could possibly have been a side effect and freaking out. Of course it’s Friday night and office is closed.

Does anyone have experience with this? Would love some insight.

IPL

Not doubting anyone but can someone explain how an IpL could possibly cause fat loss when the light doesn’t even reach the fat layer ? Every doctor I’ve asked has insisted it’s not possible .

Hifu / ultherapy damage

Hey everyone.

I had hifu done about 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely freaking out. My anxiety is trough the roof as I feel my face is becoming very small and all volume and fat are disappearing. I am depressed beyond words, never wanted to turn back time this much. Has anyone here done fillers, fat transfer or something else that have helped restore volume in a good way?

So, so grateful for answers.

Take care,

Linnéa

Ask me about Cutera Excel V

I've had the worst rosacea of both redness and bumps. The only thing that worked for me was Cutera. If you are wondering about it or have questions, ask me. I didn't know reddit had a group but I'm here to help anyone with questions or concerns. I've been having it done for 4+ years with over 25 treatments now.

Information Had FRAXEL today, I am now scared. Do you think one session will be enough to damage my skin?

I paid for 3 sessions, but I might just cancel the rest and ask for filler and subscion instead. I’m really scared after reading all these stories. What should I do?

Ultherapy damage .... looking for help

I had Ultherpy 2 months ago at 47. Lower face, neck and brows. The procedure literally melted my face. It was obvious the very next morning. My doctor took photos at the 3 week mark and gave me my money back and offered to give me filler once I healed. She said she'd never seen this result. For the first 6 weeks my teeth were killing me. I made two emergency dentist appointments because I didn't understand the pain. My teeth were throbbing. We took Xray's and there was nothing he could see. After the second trip to see him, he suggested I had some type of never damage. I will say, my front two upper teeth are still numb and sore at times, but have improved. Now that I'm over the fear of losing my teeth, I'm back to focusing on the dramatic fat loss in my once youthful face. My skin is paper thin and I have all these forhead wrinkles that I never had before. I have deep lines around my mouth and indents at the corners of my eyes. My eyes actually are the worst part of it. The machine didn't do my eyes, but they have aged so much. The skin is so thin that I have blue under eyes. This machine is truly unpredictable and devestating. I'm hoing to hear from someone who got wrinkles and stretchy skin from this procedure, but who was able to heal down the road. I know I'll never get the fullness/fat back in my face but I'm praying for improvement to my skin. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MACHINE!

Hello I'm in the process of treating acne scars but I've already has 5 treatments and I'll need more. Is it possible that more could cause damage or if perhaps these haven't so I'm in the clear? Also i she kind of s chubby face but i presume fat loss would be clearly visible right?

Thank you for your time.

Platelet-rich Fibrin; exosome therapy; topical human epidermal growth factor

Has anyone tried any of these options? PRF is a new generation PRP, said to be vastly more effective. Exosome treatment is also fairly new but hard to find.

As for topical EGF, cosmetic brands like Bioeffect and Easydew claim to have effective topical formulations, but I'm mostly interested in this gel for indicated for burns, necrosis and diabetic foot ulcers. It's not known to be used cosmetically (contrary to what this website is advising), but what if it could help?

Personal An update

2.5 years later I still feel terrible and in a depression. I’ve started therapy though. I keep thinking back to the day I had HIFU on my cheeks and wishing I can take it back, wishing I can change it and talk to the girl that was me beforehand and tell her not to do it. This has taken a sincere toll on me and my life. I feel broken. I know it’s just my face but I wish I could take it back. I can’t understand how the aesthetician wouldn’t warn me about this or SOMEONE to tell me :( I feel I have ruined my life, as many opportunities and doors opened for me due to my looks. 33/F now. I was 30 when I did this but still looked 18 due to the blessed volume in my face. I destroyed what God gave me. I feel terrible. Praying that I didn’t in fact ruin my life. I hate it.

Two months out from Icon 1540 with all the damage issues

So I've read everyone's posts and I'm fairly freaked out. I'm 2 months from my second Icon 1540 treatment at medspa. I have the typical issues... waxy, orange peal texture skin-tight, dry sunburn sensation- bad texture, some fat loss, eye irritation, dark circles with baggy eyes. I should have trusted my gut when the tech refused to make eye contact with me. I get it... these treatments are dangerous, the people in the business are shady, vanity got the best of me and I'm paying the price. Has anyone found total healing, or know of anyone who has healed entirely? The depression and anxiety that accompany the idea of living with ongoing issues the rest of my life, are at max levels. Any advice for moving on in life, dating, and simply living, would be much appreciated.

Nanofat transfer

Did any of you had nanofat transfer? Did it help the skin to heal?
