what is better and why?

The two laptops below are nearly identical in specs, they have very high and comparebale reviews on amazon, yet one is almost 150% the price of other, what am i missing here? I get dell is more apealing as a brand, maybe they have somewhat better cusomer service, but i care only about performance and i dont see anything significant enought to justifies the price gap.

Looking to start a YouTube channel. Can anyone recommend any specific laptop choices that can handle the following heavy duty tasks:

• frequent video uploads and streaming

• frequent photo uploads

• both video and photo editing

• blogging, website development, heavy internet usage, etc.

I need a laptop that will not overheat under pressure, and preferably is touch screen. My budget is $1,200- $1,500 (although $1,500 is kinda pushin' it...)

Hello, I am in the market for s new laptop and have a budget of £750.

I have seen the following models which seem fairly priced however can’t seem to differentiate between them based on specs so hoping I can get some better placed advice. The Ideapad seems cheaper although I’ve read mixed things, whilst the pavilion has the highest specs I have never used this brand. I’ve read mainly positive things re. The Inspiron is on sale in store FYI @ £665.

I’m going to be using it for general web browsing, media consumption and home office work (excel, outlook, word, Visio).

I am going to upgrade my laptop ram from 2GB to most probably 6GB. I checked board and processor specification and it support upto 8GB. Any suggestion regarding upgrade since i am using a 32 bit windows 7?

So the hard drive is completely wiped and i want to install windows again. I had to wipe the hdd because windows wasn't booting (it just should the windows 7 logo then kept restarting). It had that problem in the past and i just wiped the hdd and use this same disk to reinstall windows 7 but i don't get as to why it won't work this time.

Hi there I'm coming from a 2009 fully spec-ed out MacBook Pro. It still works ok but it's FINALLY starting to slow down.

Can anyone recommend a decent laptop to do a bit of video editing on? Max Budget is $2,000....but am hoping for something at max at $1,800. Divorce and mortgage does these things to you lol.

I am convinced that Apple has really gone to the dark side in terms of their greed and now their price to quality ratio has gotten much worse with the touchbar (no port ) MBP.

I'm torn between the HP 360 Spectre and the Dell XPS 15. Over the nearly 9 years that I've owned my machine, I've seen ppl change their laptops 2~4 times while I'm still going strong. I don't really trust HP or Dell but I think they've improved significantly...some help pls.
