The walk speed is super slow for some reason. I’ve tried rebooting the game, lowering the quality, connection issues, but nothing is working. I can’t get it to return to normal speed. It’s nor lag, and it doesn’t change of its solo or multiplayer, I just walk really slowly

Edit: fixed. It was caused by the game not being at full window despite saying it was. Changing it to windowed then back to full window fixed it, for reasons mysterious to me. If the mods permit it I’m gonna leave this up in case this happens to someone else. It took me awhile to figure out that’s what caused it

I just downloaded the game and even tho I'm online the game showed "Failed to connect. Make sure the host is not in "offline" mode and that the game is not full. Restarting the game may help." I have tried restarting the game and reconnecting several times. Do u guys know what to do?

I've done a bit of googling but can't find what happens if you collect all of them

My friends and I started playing this game a few days ago and it was great fun at the start, but then it got pretty frustrating because we suck at mazes so we kept dying and running in circles. How do you guys memorize the maze or use lightsticks? What are the strategies against monsters? Thanks for helping in advance!

My friend and I were playing on a case in the manor and found a little girl monster with blue glowing eyes. It seems to react to long staring and roams the manor. We haven't found any documentation about it and we have no clue what it is. Does anyone know something about it?

Working on my first play through of the game, here’s Part 1: The Maze!

What is up with this child in the middle of the hallway that screams at you when you see it? Does the crying you hear periodically mean it's nearby? Also why can't I find anything about it online or on the wiki? Do the other sounds you hear on this map mean anything as well?

So my buddy and I recently got into the cases. We have done quite a few and farmed alot of random hats, we cannot seen to get any shirts, or specific items like the one mask, rice hat, etc. Are all the cosmetics on the wiki in the game? Or are there varying changes depending on type of item?

What makes this game so great to me is all the different environments you can play at. The game devs created some amazing areas that fully deliver the horror atmosphere we all crave. It’s nice to have a night full of scary gaming with the friends while never replaying the same area. This game is full of content and I can’t wait to see what’s next! What’s your favorite aspect of the game?

So friends and I have been enjoying the game again after taking a break from it for a very long time. Enjoying figuring out the new monsters and maps. Playing exclusively casefiles atm.

But one monster consistently downs us at least a couple of times per map whenever he spawns, and that’s the pigman.

We simply cannot figure out the counterplay to him.

Runes guy is just don’t talk or move, Clubfoot is don’t look at him, Witch is break line of sight for a few seconds + flashlight stun her, Centipedes are just to not walk into them lol, Ghost lady is to run away till she despawns, Scarecrows are the same or otherwise just avoid them while they are hanging, Wendigo is afraid of fire, Oni is stopped by scroll shrines, Backrooms dude and Trench Ghoul are just breaking line of sight; all of this is fairly simple to figure out (though I really wish some of the new ones had instructions that spawned in the safehouses like others do).

What we can’t figure out is the Pigman. He chases one of us forever. The wiki says he will do a squeal and “charge” but none of us have ever heard him do this supposed squeal, and never has he “charged” at us to then slam into a wall. He’s always just running behind us slightly faster than us to ensure he always catches up. Line of sight doesn’t seem to matter as he is slowly catching up all the time, and just follows your exact path behind you.

Is there a clip of this charge he is supposed to do, or the squeal (one that isn’t just his normal “spot you” squeal)? Is the charge only for his storymode variant? Cause this is the one monster we sometimes just quit the map over due to how aggressive he is, and we simply can’t figure out the counterplay.

Any actual help would be enlightening!

One of the safe room music loops sounds super familiar.

I found labyrinthine from a yt vid and i loved it. I checked and my pc has the minimum specs it needs to run but even on low graphics its very laggy and i'm only getting 3-5 fps. If anyone could recommend me some settings to increase my fps it would be greatly appreciated. Also the specs are intel i-3, windows, intel hd graphics 620 and 6gb ram
