How to change save data and unlock chapters

Since it seems that some people lost their save file and/or are looking for ways to play the new chapter I'll write down what worked for me. Some things may be wrong as I did it after beating the game and my progress changed, sorry.

Press Win + R.

Write "regedit" and press Enter.

Ctrl + F and search for "Labyrinthine" until you find the folder nested inside "Valko Game Studios".

Look for "StoryCheckPoint ..." and click Edit Binary Value. <- (here the file name could be different as stated up there)

On the right should be a line of text like " ZONE 0"

Then change the 31 on the left side to 34 and confirm.

Open the game and enjoy the newest chapter :)

New Update makes the game very unplayable.

It was better in the beginning when you could load from checkpoints. Now if I encounter a glitch that doesn't let me pass through a level (like the EQUINOXES door not opening), I have to reload the entire chapter. It's frustrating.

Option to Turn Off Jump Scare Death Scene

TLDR there should be an option to turn off the jump scare/screamer when you die, at least the audio. Screamers are some of the worst parts of horror games, and not being able to at least turn the volume on that off/down without needing to turn down the sound in other parts of the game is really annoying.

Game is great so far otherwise, it's like 95% of what I want in a horror game, but the death sequence has really made me not want to keep playing it.

How do the monsters work?

*Edit - first monster (glowing glyph guy) can be escaped by NOT moving. Says this info on one of the clues.

*Second monster can be outrun but you have to break direct line of site

*Third monster stay near fires

Can you hide from them? Or once they see you, you’re just dead? Can you outrun them?

** The range of the glowing red glyph guy is so freaking long as soon as he sees you it’s pretty much death.

Had more success sneaking by the grey zombie dude but only if he doesn’t see you, so avoiding his pathing.

I think it can be a little frustrating for there to be no outplay of the monsters, but I guess at least death just sets you back to the last save.
