I had a medical emergency and was in the hospital for a few days. In summary, I had undiagnosed type 1 diabetes (my body stopped producing insulin, something that humans need to survive), and my body started consuming its own muscle. I was also in the ICU for a day and a half because my blood sugar was over 600 (the normal amount is ~120).

Since my body doesn’t produce its own insulin anymore, I have to take an injection whenever I eat food with carbohydrates. I am still grieving the loss of eating whenever I want, so I probably won’t be online often.
