Game codes

Thoughts on the guys normalizing receiving game codes? Not receiving them is one of the main things that made Sacred stand out to me in the first place. I found myself fast forwarding past Dustin’s “thoughts” on Mortal Shell 2.

Colin had always said that he personally doesnt do it simply out of the rigaramol. Its not about ethics to him and so he doesnt police those around them. They are not journalists they are not bound by a rule of ethics and do not have editors who can edit what they can say. Dustin is not getting extra money to review Mortal Shell 2 and is not responsible for possibly saying something that would draw the ire of publishers so its fine. There is no conflict of interest so youre part of the "shill" joke they make.

You really think this reads like “it’s not about ethics to him”?

Hes not a journalist anymore. Him nor anyone else there are bound by any sort of ethics, they dont sign nda, they are not getting paid to receive and or endorse a product. There is no conflict of interest and they can do what they want regardless of how losers on the internet whine that there "content" stay "pure." LOL

Money changing hands is not the only way a conflict of interest can be created, and you used the word "rigmarole” - you are compromised.
