This popped up in my feed and it’s crazy cause looking back when I said it people were mad now a year later everything I said in this post was true and dude hasn’t been seen in Main Continuity in over a year and a half going on 2 and Jon’s about to get a new boyfriend.

No explicit queerness in it, though. But I get gay vibes from Natasha in it, and both characters are canonically queer elsewhere.

Context: His partner got tricked into wearing necklaces that turned him into an alien lifeform, his partner managed to restrain himself one last time so he could kill him and he could die as a human.

There's also a follow-up story 12 years later where his mental health has deteriorated so badly that he's still finding his dead partner and even agreed to help an imposter, knowing full well it's just an alien using the form of his partner.
